Do not stay here Do not book this. It isn’t a hotel anymore. And they take reservations and don’t notify you that you can’t stay there. My friends and booked 3 rooms because we were running the Brooklyn Half marathon. When I checked with the hotel the day of arrival they lied and said I cancelled the reservations. When I said I did not they said they called me and they cancelled them. No apology and honest explanation. Poor business practice by IHG

Worst experience. Not a hotel anymore. I just had the worst experience ever in this place. I don't know why they keep saying that it's a Holiday Inn Hotel, because it's not anymore. I went over there in April 2023 with my family. My grandmother, who is almost seventy was with me and she made the reservation through a company that she has been a customer for years. When we arrived, I was suspicious, because all of the Holiday Inn signs were covered, and inside were a bunch of people wearing uniforms like the Army or something related. I asked the person who was at the front desk and they said the hotel was closed, and now it works as a kind of shelter. I called the number 718-7971133, one that I found on the Holiday Inn Website, and spent almost 30 minutes with an attendant who didn't solve my problem and she didn't admit the hotel doesn't exist anymore, and all the time I was in front of the hotel. I have sent an e-mail and nothing was resolved. We were exhausted and we went to another holiday inn that was close but no one could explain what had happened. After all the trouble, we needed to go to another hotel (Sheraton) and pay again for our reservation. We are seeing what action we'll need to take.

I was never notified that this facility was a private hotel and not HIE! In December 2022 I made a reservation for March 17-20, 2023 because I was running the NYC Half Marathon and wanted to stay close to the start in Prospect Park. On March 16 I received an email to start my check-in which I didn’t do because I prefer to do that in person. When I got to the hotel on the 17th I noticed that the hotel sign was covered and thought that maybe it had been vandalized. When I entered the lobby I was told that it was now a private hotel and that I would have to call IHG. I have been an IHG Rewards member for many years and currently Platinum Elite. I was appalled and angry that I was never notified of the change in status of this hotel! I am really disappointed in IHG management.

El peor hotel que he conocido en mi vida Holiday : The worst hotel I’ve ever been in my life, and I’m 58 years old. It has ruined my trip to New York, very dirty, there is no room service, in seven days that I stay, they have not cleaned the room for a single day. You have to ask for towels daily, because they do not put them. Very bad breakfast, the waitresses with very bad manners. To take the elevator you have to wait about ten minutes, imagine 14 rooms per floor and there are eight floors and only one elevator. It is deplorable that a city like New York allows a hotel of these characteristics to have three stars.
