Brudges in April 2025 First time in Bruges with my husband. The hotel is clean and close to the city center. Walking distance. Map given at front desk. This hotel was through Gate1 our first tour with them. City is fabulous. Recommend this hotel. Breakfast was a buffet and good.

More of a big B&B This is not somewhere to go if you are expecting the usual hotel hospitality - restaurant, bar etc. Think of it as more of a big bed and breakfast and manage your expectations. When we stayed, only a limited bar menu on 1 night was availabile. For the rest of the stay there was no bar or restaurant and we were not advised of the closures. Bedroom was fine, quiet and clean but overall the place and staff felt a little tired and lackluster

Great stay, loved the location We arrived about noon so room wasn’t ready but we were able to leave our luggage and go for a wander. The hotel is very conveniently situated not far from centre of Bruges. Lovely walk by the canal. We had a huge room overlooking the canal, the heating was great, bed very comfortable and bathroom good. The room itself was a bit tired looking, could do with a paint but was spotless. We chose not to have our room serviced, not necessary if only staying 3 nights. Breakfast was included and was adequate. 2 min walk across the canal you can get number 2 bus to train station.

Old but still has charm Quite and enjoyable location on the canals, bit of a walk from the train station because it is on the other side of city centre but good public transport options if you don't like to walk 25 minutes. Clean, professional staff, good mattress to rest after a long day. Hotel has charm (we stayed in the original part of the hotel, which is the oldest one, rooms are ok but dated - they have other parts of the building where rooms may be more up to date. Only one plug on each side of the bed, used for lamps, which we found annoying but not very offputting as we know people who desgin hotel rooms are not the brightest and come prepared. Would recommend this hotel for special rates during low season, in high season there are better options for the price they want to charge.

Lovely quiet hotel Stayed for two nights as a couple. The hotel is only 15 mins taxi ride from Bruges train station costing about €11. It's located within 10 mins walk from the main square, passing across the canal bridges and past historic houses, restaurants and bars. The room was fairly basic with only a couple of working English TV channels (but we weren't there to watch TV). The room was chilly to start with but soon warmed up with the warm air heating. Staff are helpful, polite and friendly. The water pressure is incredible for a much needed hot bath when we got back after hours walking around the city in minus temperatures. Didn't get to the spa downstairs, so can't comment on that, but it's an option for next time. Breakfast was pretty good with hot and cold options. Overall, we had a good experience and would stay there again.
