Excellent experience and the service never disappoints… My husband and I have been coming for over 20 years and gets better each time. Look for Daniel (el “Super Danny”) when you’re poolside - greatest service yet and full of helpful info about Cabo beaches. Say hi to Fernanda from the spa as she makes her rounds. The spa is worth spending the day or half the day there, my husband took an 80 minute deep tissue with Lucia and then another 50 minute (you’ll want to) at their excellent spa. I took a 50 minute with Fernanda and added a facial, both were top notch! And to top it all off, Fernanda treated us to champagne and chocolate covered strawberries!

Bait and switch This resort should be called playa de bait and switch. We booked a two bedroom presidential suite and were careful to select pool side instead of the ridge which was billed for people who want to experience Cabo night life. When we arrived we were told multiple stories as to why the only two bedroom availability was at the ridge. Our room directly faced the marina where the music went until 2am, the sea lions started barking at 6 and oh by the way there is an ambulance station directly across the street (see photo of the view). After talking to the “supervisor” the next day and complaining again they moved us to two one bedroom suites overlooking the pool which was not what we paid for but it was better than the situation we were in and all that they “had available” (the place was kind of dead so I’m skeptical of that). I asked if they could compensate us somehow for the inconvenience and the answer was just no. Not even a resort meal voucher, terribly missed customer service opportunities. Ultimately it’s not a terrible property it’s dated and a bit in disrepair but the pool was fun and most of the staff was friendly with the exception of the front desk. I’m sure they will respond to this and say “oh we are so sorry” but all they had to do was give us something minor as a we’re sorry for the bait and switch and I wouldn’t have bothered to post this with the pictures. But since they couldn’t be bothered, screw them and check out how filthy the remote was so gross.

Very disappointed We are here now and what a RIP off ! We got breakfast only because we like to explore restaurants in town and the culture of this beautiful city. Because we did not do all inclusive (which would have been another 350/perday), we get charged 8.00 for bottled water at breakfast and any other time, We are supposed to pay extra for mini gold and tennis (which we thought would be part of the resort fee) and we are paying 30.00 a day to get to the beach (I can walk, but we have a young one) because we were not made aware that the beach was not swim able. Drinks are 20 plus which we would be happy to pay for if everything else wasn’t charged for. We travel around the world to many places and this place just likes to charge for everything .! Hoping we can move to another hotel for the rest of the week ;( do NOT stay here

Nice property and pool staff, but beware of false advertising for ocean views Nice mid sized resort in the beach by the marina in Cabo. Had issues with false advertising of room location, but the property and rest of the stay was fine. Highlights: - Pool area: multiple pools so none got too crowded. - Excellent food by the pool. Had super fresh tender grilled fish tacos with smashed avocados, boys fully enjoyed their steak and chicken quesadillas, and friends loved the poke. 5 stats - Amazing waiter by the pool: Hector was everywhere and always checking on us - Easy walk down a small hill with a paved road to the marina with many restaurants - Right on the beach and can hear the waves - Happy hour: 11 and 3 each day get 2 drinks for a discounted price - Swim up bar: always a plus - Coffee stand off of lobby: nice for a pick me up - Welcome marg Midlights: - Not a swimmable beach with the dangerous waves - About an hour drive from the airport - Other building of hotel far walk with up and down hills from main area Lowlights: - False advertising: room we booked on their official website had this 1 line description: "Blending comfort and style, this suite features two bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, and an inviting living area with ocean views." -- When we did not get an ocean view we booked for I raised this with the staff and they said view is not guaranteed. There was is no indication or reason for me to believe not getting an ocean view was even an option. -- I talked to 2 staff members who showed little care for the information we booked based on being inaccurate. No apologies or empathy about our experience which was concerning for a hospitality establishment. -- After pushing on the view being the reason we booked this hotel for 3 birthdays, one staff member reluctantly checked and said maybe there's another room as an option but it would have construction noise. -- When I went to see the room, the man who took me laughed and said no wonder you want to change rooms--this building is much better. Which tells me they are fully aware of the disappointing experience they are providing many guests. Had a nice visit and enjoyed the patio ocean view each day we eventually got, but will not stay here again being falsely advertised to and unable to book an ocean view with confidence.
