Great Hotel This is an excellent hotel - it is charming, the beds are comfortable and the staff friendly. Recommend. I would avoid a room on the 10th floor as the hotel mechanics sit under the roof there and as a result there was a load fan noise in my room that could not be fixed - I had to move rooms.

Always a Special Treat in Cambridge. The Charles Hotel is always a special treat for me and my family when we are up in Cambridge. The location is fabulous. The accommodations are lovely. The restaurants are delicious and their service is excellent. I always look forward to my time at The Charles Hotel.

Favorite Hotel The Charles is our favorite hotel anywhere. Love the understated ambience and excellent service at every level. Had one issue which was immediately resolved. The food in the restaurants was excellent. We ate at Henrietta’s for breakfast every day where we enjoyed the food, the service and the decor. There’s a wide selection. Ate at Bar Enza one night which was also very good.

Great experience Location, restaurants & services makes it the best hotel to know Harvard surroundings. It is also near many bus stops and Harvard Square metro station that can take you to MIT & Boston in a quick ride. Highly recommended for family or business trips.

Don’t bother staying here anymore Terrible decline and decay in the hotel experience and staff. Compared to prior stays here, it was horrible. Too many issues that impacted several basic areas of this hotel stay. No accountability or taking responsibility for service failures either.
