Solid business trip location depending on purpose Stayed in one of the imnan suites on a work trip. It was interesting, on the ones hand lots of space, on the other hand it was a fold out bed basically w no lights by the bed. It's more of a conference room than a place to sleep. Great views of the Charles. Not the closest to anything centrally Cambridge-related by for my purposes and office location, it was fine.

A good but expensive hotel with outrageous additional city add-on costs. The location was great - right next to the Charles River with paths and a green space between the hotel and the river bank. The hotel was clean and well managed. While the parking was listed at an outrageous $40/night (luckily no valet costing an extra tip), we had no problem getting free parting along the road on the river side of the hotel. (Note to get this you have to go to the hotels back entrance in the river side.) Disliked · We booked a river-view room but were given a "partial river-view" room! It would be nice to receive what we booked. I reported it to the desk on departure but no attempt at any compensation was made by the desk agent. While it is not the fault of the hotel, I am floored by the $71-78 additional taxes and fees per night. The bed was too soft leading to quite a kink lying on ones back or side.

Impossible to sleep here - checked out in the middle of the night A night of torture - never stay here, The room had broken AC and a horrendous rattling sound making sleep impossible. I was there for a one night business trip, and ended up checking out in the middle of the night and getting the first flight home so that I could get some rest at home. Richard, the manager on duty refused to give me any sort of refund because I’d made a non refundable booking, even though the room I was given was not fit for purpose. There are so many other hotels in Boston - don’t stay here. It also looks like a multi-story car park.

Very bad experience The hotel is extremely poorly managed. Someone seriously needs to evaluate options for improving staff attitudes. Had one of the worst experience in my life. Most Staff are terrible....front desk guys were worst and indifferent..they have no consideration...rooms/ bathrooms are dusty and poor quality. Don’t ask to talk to GM or hotel manager. They don’t speak to you because they don’t care.

Felt like Royalty in Beantown I had a great stay at Royal Sonesta Boston. The location, service, & vibes set this hotel apart during Spring. Being right on the Charles River was a great bonus. My trip was partial business & leisure, made at ease with great parking and nearby amenities. The pre-arrival text feature was helpful. I was able to inform them of a need for a humidifier & reason we were in town. The operations team was very responsive & Kaley W. made my stay even more special. She went above/beyond to make sure I was having fun in a new city. Another staff member even came from the front desk to hand us a Royal Card as we were taking a picture of the hotel's Mascot
