Amazing Staff at Westin Lagunamar!! If you are nervous about traveling to a resort during a pandemic but need to get away - THIS is your place! We have been here several times but were a tad nervous this time because of the current COVID situation. Happily we were greeted by familiar staff members who solidified the reason we come back to me and again. We’ve made lifelong friends with several of the highly attentive staff members like our buddies Williams, Juan Armando, Armando #1 (LOL - he knows who we’re talking about), Sol & Javier our concierge. Visit the Duna Bar & Grill and say hello! The sterilization practices were simply amazing. From temperature and hand sanitizing stations EVERYWHERE, to the presence of masks, gloves, continual wiping and cleaning of all highly touched areas and temperature checks at every door of every indoor restaurant and market - the Westin Lagunamar staff were on top of it all! We felt completely safe. COVID tests were scheduled for you right away for those entering a country where it is mandated to return. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. Family friendly. Great for honeymooners! Just an amazing place!

Best resort ever! My family of 5 ( 3 teenagers) had such a wonderful and great experience at this resort! Our 2 bedroom ocean view suite was amazing and clean and had all the comforts of home with a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. We liked the convenience of the on-site grocery store and the grill near the pool we took advantage of for sunset dinners. The service was awesome and if we had any issues with anything, it was taken care of right away. The staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful. The property was kept very clean and impeccable. Top notch hotel! Best I’ve been to in Cancun/Rivera Maya. William took great care of us on the beach..,So shout out to him! We enjoyed the Isla plaza right across the street from resort for shopping and restaurants. Great location. We would definitely return! We just got back from there today (before hurricane Grace expected to make landfall) and was very fortunate to have 1 week of beautiful beaches with no seaweed. Made our stay even more incredible!o

Amazing Trip- Clean, Safe and so Friendly I had a lot of anxiety leading up to our trip.. like why did I decide to go during Covid. Once there, all my worries were alleviated. Everything was clean, socially distanced and incredibly safe. Add to that, the staff made everything worth it! Really everyone is so nice, but in particular, Williams and Ignacio at the pools and Juan Jose in Oceana Restaurant went above and beyond. They all really cared about us having a good time and showed a great deal of pride in how they treat people. Massages by Vicky and Nury were amazing. Rooms/Suites were very clean. We enjoyed all onsite food/drinks. Having ruins on site and sea turtle pens right outside on beach were bonuses! The mall across the street was great to get away for dinner a couple times. We were so happy to experience this time as a couple and will be back again in the near future.

Special Place No Hotel room, all various size suites. Right one the ocean and accross the street from the big very nice Mall. GREAT restuarants all up and down the main strip. Easy bus stop out front and the one of the best beachs in the world

Westin LagunMar The Westin Laguna Mar makes a perfect home a way from home!! The villas are beautiful, the views are spectacular, the beach is awesome white sand and the pool bar is…. Well it’s a pool bar! The staff was incredibly polite and the concierge set us up with fabulous dinner options and took care of all our excursions. It was perfect!
