Lovely hotel, shame about the noise of the campsite!! We stayed in an apartment for four nights as a stopover travelling home from southern Spain. Hotel was lovely and clean, staff were very pleasant and helpful, the apartment was small but perfect for the three of us. The problem was we faced the campsite across the road at the rear and the noise from the appalling entertainment was so loud until midnight. Didn’t bother us too much apart from the last night we stayed in to eat on our balcony and could hardly hear each other speak. How this kind of noise pollution is allowed is beyond me! Ask for a front facing room or apartment!

Warm water pool fabulous, treatments not so much The hotel looks a bit old from the outside but the reception area is impressive and new and the rooms are OK. We had a large room with a huge shower, a separate toilet, and a small terrace on the inside courtyard with a partial view of the sea, furnished with a two-seat sofa, round table and chairs, comfy large bed, night tables, and plenty of storage. All the complimentary stuff is included. We visited the excellent spa and enjoyed the warm pool most of all. During our stay, it wasn't too crowded. We had breakfast in the restaurant and there was a good assortment of food. We never had dinner. The staff was polite enough, except for an oldish, bald guy in a white shirt and black trousers who asked us rudely to leave the space around the outdoor pool because our tiny dog was not allowed there. On the negative side, I had two treatments: one back massage that was adequate but not special and a foot massage that was not worth the money, since the masseuse had no experience at all with the technique and kept caressing my ankles rather than pressing the soles of my feet. Very disappointing, they should get experienced personnel. Also, there is a sore lack of outdoor parking space, while they ask 20€ per night to park inside, which for a hotel reachable only by car is sort of extortionary. Customers were mostly French during our stay and I guess speaking French helps to get good service. On the whole a great experience except for the treatments and lack of parking.

Dreadful service. So rude! Incredibly rude staff. So disappointed. Following miserable service wrote to the hotel and never even got a reply. Unbelieveable! The spa facilities were out of order. The staff couldn't have cared less. I certainly won't be recommending to friends or family.

A lovely welcome stay. We stayed in the residents apartments not in the hotel. The apartment had an amazing view, was very spacious and clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and kind. The location is superb .. neat enough to the cafes and bars but not on top of them.

7 night stay inSeptember 2022 Hi, beautiful position big rooms. We asked to change room as toilet was in separate cubical and it was so small and awkward you couldn’t sit properly. We were staying for 7 nights. Reception said hotel was completely full so couldn’t change. This was completely incorrect as we saw several guests checking in and out over the week! Good in restaurant was perfect. However they were short staffed every night and service was chaotic. French Maitre de was incredibly unhelpful and ignored us most evenings , we thought it was because everyone else was French and did we hear us being called ‘Les anglais!’ We are in the restaurant 5 nights. On leaving and paying our bill there was no ‘thank you’ or hope you enjoyed your stay, or any acknowledgment at all! Very very poor service. Rosamund Levinson
