Disappointing stay. The hotel itself was charming and we had a beautiful view of the coastline. Unfortunately the customer service was severely lacking (especially for the cost). The front desk was empty half of the time and when someone was there, they could barely say hello let alone ask us if we needed anything or how it was going. We had a subpar checkin experience and at departure we walked out the door without being greeted. The staff was very underwhelming and did not go out of their way at all except for the two bellman.

Unbelievable comfort, luxury, and atmosphere I'll just cut to the chase--at the end of our stay, my husband said, "I think I might love this place TOO much." We were not prepared for the level of hospitality or the beauty of the surroundings we found here, but we definitely wanted to stay much longer and are already planning our return trip. Great staff, beautiful rooms (ours was first floor and opened directly onto the beach, with a view of the famous rocks right from our patio), more amenities and gifts than we could use...and even a care package for the road when you check out! We celebrated our 20th anniversary here (had dinner in the hotel restaurant and everything, because why leave?) and it was just magical from start to finish. Not only is staying here a no-brainer when you are in the area, I think the inn itself is a perfect reason to visit coastal Oregon!

Put this property on your bucket list! How many times can I say, "awesome?" 5 of the best vacation nights we've ever experienced. The beach is phenomenal, one of the most beautiful in the world, food is 5 star, staff is professional, kind and gracious. Rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. Easy access to the town with the hotel's Rivian - never had to wait more than 10 minutes for transportation. Great spot to just relax and recharge with a personal bonfire, chair and umbrella on the beach, massage, glass of Oregon wine, or be active with walks and/or bike rides on the beach, hiking nearby, and yoga and gym options just a mile away in town. Did I mention that temps were in the 70's with no humidity all week? We'll definitely be back!

What a GEM The only thing to note that trumps the hospitality, property, friendliness of staff, and overall experience, is the view from the room, and the size of Haystack rock which is right outside the hotel. Not only were our expectations exceeded with the quality of the hotel and culinary, but the staff went above and beyond whenever they could to satisfy our every need and answer all the questions we had. We even took a hike at Ecola State park (Indian wells trail) our second day there, one person in our group couldn't walk the trail back (it wasn't a loop trail so it ended us at a different parking lot than where our car was), we called the inn and they came to pick us up only to drive us 10 minutes to the other parking lot where our car was! We have stayed at the upper echelon of hotels across the country and out of, and the Stephanie inn was an amazing property in an unbelievable location that is surely not to be missed! We can't wait to return!
