Disgusting, dirty resort with cockroaches Cockroaches in the first room we were put in. We spoke to the manager and the head of housekeeping and they changed our room and apologized. The next one was just dirty and rundown. The whole place is dirty. Do not go here. I would’t dare going in the pool. I have a hard time to understand after COVID and being closed or limited that place is in such disrepair.

Long weekend with the family Six family members booked three rooms at the hotel for a long weekend. The room was basic. It was clean, with a nice bed. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room, so it accommodated our needs. Three nights of use, and sand, is too long to go without housekeeping. I think going back to daily service is proper. The beach is great along with the low tide sand bar makes it a kid favorite. With the sandy bottom and calm water, this is a preferred place to stay. We frequented the Jackspot Restaurant several times and found it satisfied our needs.

Checked out for future visits We won’t be back. It’s a 40.00 hotel room at best. “Resort” if something on the sheets, dirt under the microwave and blood on the ceiling is the amenities being sought it’s excellent. The establishment has been repaired but other reviews I checked said it had been renovated. If so it was it was poorly executed. The RV park that shares the hotel amenities looked nice but the “private” beach and pools are both way to small should everyone decide to ascend on these areas as a part of their stay.

Terrible experience This hotel was dirty. The sheets had some crusty stuff on them. The bathrooms were moldy and the service was horrible. They didn’t clean our room and when asked they responded like if I was not entitled to good quality service and was suggested to go to another hotel if I wanted better service, when I was paying more than $200 per night. Don’t waist your money and time like I did!

Stay Away - Dirty Dirty Dirty Best part...free parking...the end of good bits! The place needs a stronger cleaning team. Our room had splattered flies on the white (actually grey) window nets, the bathroom was barely clean and the shower curtain gross, the TV had hand marks all over (remember we're still in Corvid time) and the best of all....the floor. I had to wipe bit of spilt water off the floor and at that point realized the dirt. Lightly wiped a wet-wipe and it came up filthy. White bed sheets also had marks on them and overall, the cleaning staff have let the reception staff down. The beach 'resort' is average and a pretty small beach considering the amount of people allowed at the campsite. There must be nicer places to stay in this area.....surely!!
