We hope to return many times to Congress Hall! This is an excellent and extremely well managed resort. The amenities are very good and the staff is helpful, joyful and nice. They are trying hard to make your stay comfortable, pleasant and without problem! The atmosphere of the entire resort is what you wish for when you go on the Jersey Shore: sunny and joyful!

Another year in the books…… 6th year down , 10th trip overall, 15th visit and still amazing! We have been coming here since my daughter was 1 years old! She is now 7, my son is 3 and the week after the 4th of July has been our time! This year we were lucky enough to get the 2 queen bed balcony room, already sold out for 2025 the week we come so womp womp , but we will be back for sure. The memories and the love for this place grows. The ONLY reason I dropped it to 4 stars this year is because unfortunately even with the hawks every other day the seagulls were insane and my daughter unfortunately on 7/10 was “mauled” by about 15 seagulls to the point where other guests and pool staff had to intervene to help them. Luckily she was okay, they hit her face and arm , some bruising but she is okay but it was awesome for her to hear from other guests today and yesterday about how brave she was for what she dealt with. My wife and I were very nervous because she stated to us she didn’t want to go back to the pool but she was a trooper and went back today! I was slightly disappointed that management did not reach out to us (pool staff was great and told us they would let management know about the situation and also said they would use our room number to get the name to them, room 220) but I guess it is what it is, other than that business as usual, staff is great, room was spotless, beach and pool service impeccable, of course will be back next year but was a little upset that no one reached out to us about what happened to our 7 year old , who truly adores this place!

Great Location-A Few Issues to Address Loved Cogress Hall and will return. The history and the relaxed atmosphere was amazing. However, a few issues tainted the trip. When we got there, the valet did not make any effort to assist with the luggage. My husband ended up bringing the cart up to the room himself. The bed in the room was firm-the pillows on the other hand were the wimpiest I have ever seen. There were 6 pillows on the bed-none of which were of any use. Went to two of the onsite restaurants-one good, one not good. Children running up&down the halls was an issue to. Despite the aforementioned issues, we overall enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful vacation at the Congress Hall Highly recommend staying at Congress Hall. Very relaxing vibe and a few steps from the beach, pool, and shopping. Very comfortable bed, comforter, and pillows in a quiet room. Excellent customer service. We rented bikes on the property and biked throughout Cape May including from Congress Hall to the winery - was a flat, easy 20 minute bike ride. We enjoyed pizza in the Boiler Room and cocktails while rocking in rocking chairs on the relaxing patio and later poolside by the adult only pool. We swam in the pool which was at a comfortable temperature and had great service of towels and lounge chairs with umbrellas. We sipped on Buffalo Trace Manhattans in the Brown Room while listening to live music and feeling like we had gone back in time by a century. On our last evening, we sat in the adirondack chairs on property and relaxed listening to live music on the patio behind and the ocean waves ahead. So much to enjoy at Congress Hall and in the area around it. Hope to make it back on our 1 year anniversary!

Horribly noisy Half the rooms you book state "Potential for noise" and when you book one that doesn't say that, you will still have to deal with hearing rockbands or DJ's from their basement bar until 1am. You will hear bass and thumping from 9:30pm to 1:00am, Wednesday to Saturday. Can you imagine a HOTEL making that much noise? We had two more nights and couldn't wait to leave. Hotel tried giving us another room but we needed 2 beds and room was small and claustrophobic with broken seals on the windows so the "ocean view" really isn't any good. Same with the one set of windows in the "town view", the seals were broken so the windows were all cloudy. Upon arriving,my bed was lopsided so spent the first morning all sore from the uneven bed. Really haven't had a restful time here which is a #1 priority on vacation. We really messed up by giving Congress Hall another try.
