Lovely Stay! We arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn in Carmel at the last minute after a terrible experience at another hotel. The staff was very welcoming and warm! Sayde Edwards was phenomenal, and made us a little care package of fruit because we had missed breakfast. We were so grateful for her kindness and for going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome.

Nice Hotel in a nice area. The check in process was okay but their system shut down mid process. It was still pleasant. The outside of the hotel looks modern however the inside is older. Our room had strong air fresher smell however it was very clean. It was a very nice stay. Thank you! The location was in a nice area. Close to shopping.

Great facility, drastically understaffed The facility and room are really top notch for the price. There’s a good restaurant and bar, the breakfast buffet is plentiful, and there’s even a little convenience shop for a drink or snack. The hotel is, however, drastically understaffed. It’s common to wait 10-15 minutes for somebody to show up at the front desk. The employees always seemed harried and out of breath. The situation sets up a dynamic where guests get slow service, they get irritated and take it out on the staff, and the staff service ethic takes a beating. Management, don’t be such greed heads; just hire more staff.

Very good stay and would come back again! I stayed in room 213. Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, easy digital check-in, check-out and keyless entry, the room smelled amazing and was clean, fresh linens, soft and plentiful pillows and firm mattress, great water pressure and temperature control, nice mini-fridge, microwave, pool/hot tub area looked nice, quiet (even though the hotel was completely booked), free wifi that worked well, ample parking (especially handicap spaces) and I could see my car from my room, Bible in the room, good selection of TV channels and apps, and two comfortable outside areas with chairs (one has a gas fire pit) which are designated smoking areas. Smokers are not banished to their cars or dark, hidden places. Cons: the bathroom could use an update; the toilet is so low to the floor that it's almost like for kids, shower head was loaded with lime build-up and the corners of the bathroom floor by the tub were not clean, the Hamilton Beach coffee maker uses k-cups and the lid would not stay closed unless I held it or it would shut off instead of brewing, The TV kept freezing when on and when I tried to adjust the angle of the TV, it kept disconnecting from the app services, there were a couple of burned out light bulbs and all bulbs hadn't been dusted in a LONG time. The biggest con of all is there is no free breakfast. The breakfast is $15 and I didn't partake. For a $189 room, I would think breakfast should be included! With that all being said, my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis/Carmel was very good and I would not hesitate to stay there again the next time I come to Carmel on business.

Clean, comfortable, convenient The staff here are the best I've seen, every one of them helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Rooms are comfy and ours was very quiet, even staying on the side facing the highway. This is always our first choice hotel when we come to Carmel, and we have never been disappointed.
