Disappointing Stay While the hotel was sold out, this place has really gone downhill. The room was filthy… mold, mildew and blood smear on the wall. I will never stay here again. When I notified the front desk, they said they would have housekeeping refresh the room and provide me with a $150 credit. Also, I always request a feather free room because of allergy sensitivities. $150 is not worth the health concerns that arise when staying in a room with these conditions. I am a Bonvoy Gold Elite member, which is why I looked for a Marriott property. The rate together with taxes was above $1000 total for 2 nights, so really they should be able to take care of the property better than they have. Disappointing at best.

Do NOT stay here unless you really don’t care about cleanliness!! I have never been so disappointed in a property in my life!! I think if the Marriott CEO went there he would shut it down!! He definitely would not stay there!! I don’t even know where to start. First off arrived at exactly 4pm—ck in time—after traveling 5 hours with a 6 month old and 2 more under 10. Room not ready. 55 min later went to ck and was told one of our rooms was ready. 30-40 min later other was finally ready. NOT Clean!! My 5 yr old came out of bathroom with a contact on her finger and said—what’s this nana? It was in the sink. The shower has cloth smears in places it had been swiped over. *No trash bags and only tiny trash cans. *Mold on ceiling *Rebar showing on balcony *Telephone didn’t work yet on their info it tells you what number to call in case of fire!!! *Glass doors to balcony—NASTY *Bonvoy system didn’t work at all—couldn’t use phone for keys either *No restaurant other than little coffee bar with a few breakfast sandwich options—all precooked food heated up yet have a buffet on weekends—-REALLY?? We needed to eat too and I had small children so had to plan to go somewhere to eat at all!!! *The poor landscaping!! OML This hotel is just so run down and not the quality of a Marriott property!!

Relaxing and enjoyable trip! I was a bit skeptical after reading several poor reviews of this property. I reached out to the GM to clarify the pool situation and was informed that a lightning strike took out the poolside emergency phone. The outdoor pool was operational while they were still trying to obtain parts for the indoor pool. We decided to proceed with our trip. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find our room available early (titanium Bonvoy member). The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Upon arrival to our room, we were a bit more attentive to the details based on the reviews. We were happy to see the room clean and fresh. Our extra towels we requested were delivered almost immediately upon arrival. Day 1 we decided to visit the outdoor pool. It was clean and relatively quite. The layout is great and allows good separation for kids to play while adults can relax. We noticed continual monitoring on the water quality by hotel staff. The location of the hotel is excellent. Beachfront and near just about everything. Our entire stay was very relaxing and the hotel is a great value given the location and upkeep. The only issue we had was a pulled fire alarm at the hotel one evening and the staff was very professional. The guests were kept informed at all times and the staff was very apologetic. This was a fantastic stay and we will be back for sure. Our stay was Sunday through Thursday ang seemed to be just right to avoid heavy crowds. A few tips: 1) plan on early or late dinner, 6pm you will find 1-2 hour waits 2) many business close Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, check times and plan accordingly 3) spend the money and utilize the beach chair rental company right in front on the hotel on the beach. You reserve online, use your chair and walk away when done. Enjoy your stay!

Great Beachfront Hotel The hotel is right on the boardwalk with easy access to the beach and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and very clean. If you book the ocean front, you have a small balcony from which to view the ocean. We thought it would be noisy since it was located next to the rides, but it was actually very quiet. Would definitely stay here again! Book early because prices climb as it gets closer to peak season.

Good view, older than expected hotel. This is a pleasant stay as far as location is concerned. The room we were in on the top floor was ok, but the view was great. Downside of our stay was parking. There was a wedding Saturday night and paying guests didn't have parking but the reception people did. The staff was slow but expected due to staffing issues. We didn't mind going to get our own towels and whatnot. They were definitely trying to keep up as best they could.
