Disappointed This used to be a nice hotel last time i stayed, 2021; the price was ok and the property was awesome considering the branch. I visited Orlando this year and was similar there. So I decided to stay but, sadly was too many things that disappointed me. I saw people complaining to the young blonde gentleman at the front desk at night when I checked in, at the end of my stay I understood that the property is not what it used to be. Internet never worked in almost 3 days, pool put of service and dirty when they finally filled; breakfast started at 6, but the food is mostly served around 6:40; unable to do a late check out ( I was offered that and willing to pay but denied several times and they didn’t even bother to confirm the why until I asked in the front desk, but still, offered a service I didn’t got) and I could let slip all this, the prices at Charleston are really high right now and this was one of the most affordable and better deals o saw, until a house keeper opened my door at 7 am while I was asleep, and decided to feel entitled to lecture me that the tv was on and the volume was high ( the volume was like exactly in the same level I found it and worse, i didn’t even saw it) the privacy sign was on the door know and I was happy that my family didn’t traveled with me, in general the whole staying was bad, not terrible but definitely bad for a property I liked in my first trip to Charleston and was my home for a week while I found a home. Still cheap and the room is clean, so don’t come with high expectations, and be careful with the parking, some guest like to behave like animals and hit the doors with other doors or decide to park close to your door because is too hard for them to park properly or walk few extra meters. Anyway, probably not coming back but I have to admit the location is great, so I hope the wifi can work next time I decide to take a shot again here.

The Worse Amy was a pleasure but Simone and Tonya were disgusting and I am an African American woman one called the cops on me and blatantly lied about our interaction I apologized more than I should have just to get her from ruining my vacation and the other decided to go back and forth with me as a customer stating I was drinking their Coffee customers were walking around barefoot touching all the food no gloves the key cards didn’t work forcing us to return to the desk multiple times to get to room and not be able to enter is the unsafest position to be in especially when we were staying in the outside rooms no security just a nasty ass hotel rep and another who takes Laquita coffee very personal I would never stay here again

Don’t get a room in the next building. We were assigned a room on adjacent building. Room smelled wet and moldy. La Quinta should not be renting these rooms.Complained to the desk person CODY. Cody made it right and assigned us a room in the main building. Room was clean and smelled good. Thank you, CODY!

Good for the price The room was clean and spacious. We did request to move room as it was very noisy on the road side of the external block, and the staff were great and sorted it immediately. As some reviews say, there are bits of the hotel that are dated but we found the room clean and the staff friendly. They could maybe do with a touch up and clean of the vents, pelmets, etc but the bed is a nice size and sheets were soft and clean. Breakfast can be busy even by 8am, and you might need to give the table a wipe but in general breakfast was ok. You can hear quite a lot of noise when in your room as the walls and windows are thin, but overnight it was usually quiet.

Don't Stay Here EVER Very disappointed with this stay. The room was very gross, mold on the walls, dirty, etc. There was no refrigerator, closet, hangers, hair dryer... and so on. The TV didn't work, and when I brought it up to the staff they said they can't help. The carpet was wet in places. We were in the back room in the second building and it was very loud. The worst part was the staff. When we were checking out, we almost had a full day to spare to explore the last bit of Charleston, and they denied my request asking to store our luggage due to "not enough room" and the staff just said no and didn't help at all!! Insane. I thought staying here despite the bad reviews was going to be fine since it was the cheapest, and I would have WAY rather spent more money elsewhere. Do not stay here.
