Good People The Restoration is how quality hotels should be added to Charleston…fitting into the landscape, filled with quality staff and providing as many services as a visitor needs. From the time Sean greeted us at the sidewalk until we said goodbyes, it was an excellent stay. Thank you.

Beautiful and convenient hotel. But service needs an upgrade! The hotel was beautiful & the accommodations were perfect for our girls trip. It is pricey & we thought with the continental breakfast and happy hour daily that it was really worth it. Until the last morning of the stay. Our breakfast was leftovers from the happy hour from the previous evening. Cheese cubes, salami, nuts, butter, jam and no pastry We spoke to Shawn at the front desk and he basically said you get what you get and don’t get upset. Terrible customer service experience. He should have sent ip croissants from the coffee shop in the building. Or showed some empathy. For $800 a night we did deserve better. Matt could not have been nicer the entire stay. He should be promoted to Shawn’s position!!

Perfect southern hospitality. Top location. The epitome of Southern Hospitality. Perfect location-walking distance to best part of king st and French quarter. So many amazing restaurants nearby. Beautiful, comfortable, aesthetic decor. Many complimentary perks like breakfast baskets, late night cookies, happy hour, fridge stocked with soda, juice and water, as well as pimento cheese spread and crackers. Immaculate. Great restaurant on rooftop with a view. Cute small heated pool on roof. Cute courtyard and connected coffee shop. Friendly staff. This place is perfect.

Amazing stay We truly enjoyed our girls trip to Charleston while staying at The Restoration. The property is gorgeous with lots of hidden gem areas to sit and chat and visit. We especially liked the breakfast basket that was delivered to our door every morning. The hotel staff was super responsive to any requests we had. The location of The Restoration cannot be beat as it's located in the heart of downtown Charleston. We were within a short walk to shopping, restaurants and even enjoyed a little street market that was on King Street one Sunday afternoon. It was also fun to stay there in October as there were many bridal and wedding parties around town. If you stay at The Restoration, you will not be disappointed!

Disappointing amenity experience One of the amenities advertised on your site was a continental breakfast. It would be ok if it was a nice snack for two instead but what was delivered inside the morning basket was pitiful and hardly for one. One morning there were 2 strawberries and 2 containers of add water oatmeal. Really???..Another morning one croissant. Were my husband and I supposed to share??? You should be ashamed!
