The worst experience ever Do not stay in this hotel… it is a filthy dump. The hallways are just the beginning of the story, trash and dirt from one end of the corridor to the other. Bathrooms disgusting. Surly staff. And in the span of an hour had two staff members let themselves into the room without knocking saying they thought we had checked out… actually we did right after that. Whatever you do DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Worst Aloft I've ever visited! While I do understand the challenges with the availability of staff, this hotel was downright filthy. The common areas were littered and unkept and it was evident the vacuum cleaner seldom hit the corners in the hallways. The room was somewhat clean and comfortable. Having stayed at a number of Aloft's around the country, I was appalled at how this hotel was tired and dirty. I will not be staying there ever again unless they clean up their act. Even the front desk help was a bit rude. And no, I didn't voice my complaints as I felt they would fall on deaf ears.

Not what I expected from Aloft When we checked in we were given a long speech about not smoking in the room and how we would be charged if we smoked in the room. We don't smoke so that wouldn't be an issue. We were given our key card and when arrived at our room, it smelled like someone had just finished a cigarette in the room. I called the front desk and we went down and the front desk clerk apologized and assigned us to another room. This room was smoke free but didn't have one clean towel and there was dried urine on the back of the toilet seat. I went back down stairs to complain and get towels. The next day when we checked out the front desk clerk took our name and phone number and said he would pass it to the general manager who he expected to be there hours before, but still hadn't shown up. Needless to say, we never got a call or anything to make things better. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS ALOFT AGAIN.

Trying to hard to be hip The hotel tries to hard to be hip. The facilities are in serious need to cleaning and upgrades. The hallway rugs are worn and I could a hallway phone barely hanging onto the wall. There was a prevalent odor of marijuana in our hallway and other places around the hotel. This is kind of a security issue and should be addressed.

Dirty The room was really dirty. There was a used fork on the floor, stains on the floor & mattress, & the room had this humid closet smell. Outside of the room in the halls & on the doors was dirty as well. It’s just not a clean place overall. We only stayed for 1 night & were only in the room to shower & slee so it wasn’t a big deal to us but definitely do not stay here if you’ll be spending any time in the room. On top of all this, they charged us full price instead of discounted Travelocity price I booked it under. Definitely will not be returning.
