CLT Airport Inn & Suites

Horrible, nasty place - Do not stay here! We made the mistake of staying in this hotel for 1 night at the end of October. It is the most disgusting, nasty hotel I have ever stayed in in my life! Avoid at all costs. The health department should do a surprise inspection here for sure. Even though this place holds the LA Quinta name, Wyndham does not own it and was very fast and efficient in their complaint response - very impressed. They stated they would investigate. I hope they follow through. Their complaint department satisfied me 100%. Here are my main issues. i only stayed because it was late and most hotels were booked because of the flooding issues in the west of the state. *Upon entering the property, the smell suggests a run down seedy motel that is attempting to mask its odor with cheap, scarcely used cleaning products. *All carpeting leading to the rooms are sticky and nasty and obviously haven’t been vacuumed in quite some time. The elevator floors are nasty, and sticky as well. *Elevator door control has open holes in it. (OSHA safety hazard) *Room is disgusting – nasty, sticky carpeting, stained furniture, stained, threadbare bedspread, refrigerator inside not cleaned, bathroom sink clogged up almost 100%, used, tattered rag left on the sink, only one towel provided (we chose not to shower), lights beside bed not working, damaged bathroom sink walls, unclean toilets, - I could continue. *bathroom hairdryer busted and started smoking as soon as I turned it on. (NC State fire code fire hazard) The clerk offered a blank stare the next morning when I presented it to him. *No breakfast provided as advertised. Not even a bowl of apples or bananas…(Another blank stare from the clerk). Avoid this place at all costs!! I would have chosen to avoid rating one star if I could have.

DISGUSTING JUST DON'T If I hadn't been in a tight spot due to hurricane I would have left and found a decent place to stay. Just do yourself a favor and don't even try this place. It's in disrepair and just felt unsafe and sketchy.

Just don't Staff is horrible, rooms are horrible, there's no breakfast, just spend the extra money else-where. Hope you're not in a hurry, staff takes there time since you inconvenience them by showing up.

Unsecured Room door would not lock holes in ceiling dirty carpet throughout building out of service signs everywhere!!

Awful Be aware this place is horrible don’t waste your time not clean graffiti on the walls landscaping has not been touched in years
