Pleasently surprised Beds are firm which was good for my back. Couches pull out into additional bed which is great for having guests. Parking is lenient. Staff is wonderful and was extremely responsive to all of my needs as a tenant. I liked having a kitchen it gave the feeling of a home away from home. It has a cost vibe but still had adequate space for my things. 5 stars!

Nice place to stay We arrived on Friday and checked in. We were so surprised to see that we had a kitchen and that the rooms were a nice size. I couldn't get the tv to work and it was late so I watched the tv in the bedroom. I went Saturday morning to the office and the lady there came in and fixed it for me. It was a little noisy during the night but not bad enough I couldn't sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

I'd Stay Here Again The price can't be beat. We got a coffee maker. Everything else you'll need to provide. Be careful of your keys--but we had no problem. We liked the location--across the street from the local Arts Council. Next time there'll be a Wegmans within walking distance.. .

Things you need to go before staying here I was excited to find a place for 2 nights on Labor Day weekend in the Charlottesville vicinity, that had a kitchen. The website looked good, so we booked. It states fully furnished kitchen. I've stayed numerous places, and that normally includes at least a coffee maker. But since there is a full kitchen (stove, microwave, sink, refrigerator), NORMALLY that includes at least service for 2 of dishware. SO not the case. There weren't even paper towels provided, much less any type of utensils. So that was major strike 1 and 2 (no coffee maker/no utensils in a fully furnished suite as per their website description). Their fully furnished suites description on their website is very misleading, and even after negative reviews from this summer, management still has not updated their website (which I saw of course after I arrived!). Additionally, the pillows - OMG! I am not one to complain about how hard/soft mattresses are and pillows, but this was ridiculous. My husband and I tent camp, and our tiny Coleman pillows we use for camping, have more fluff than these ridiculous things. We literally folded them in half, and were so uncomfortable, we barely slept night # 1. We literally were pondering getting the bath towels and folding them for pillows, it was THAT bad! We went to the nearby Dollar General the next morning and BOUGHT 2 pillows! We at least had a decent night sleep night #2. For places like this, if it was CLEARLY indicated on their website of what WAS and WAS NOT included, then I wouldn't be so upset. When I'm not aware, and have to go BUY what I have at home, but was expecting to be provided in "fully furnished", then that make me upset. The place was very clean, great location to UVA/downtown. There was no management on site from the time we arrived until we left, so thank goodness we didn't have any issues or need to call their emergency #. Take these things into consideration before booking here. If you can take your own dishes/basics, then it's fine. Don't expect it to be provided. No where did I see an option to add on kitchen amenities when I booked either. Take everything you need if you plan to stay here, as it is NOT provided! No blow dryer, coffee maker, the basics.

Adequate The suite was clean but smelled of smoke. You aren't allowed to smoke in the rooms but the outside ashtrays are in front of the rooms and the smell comes inside. The pillows were horrible (bring your own if you can) and the fitted bottom sheet on the bed did not have deep enough pockets. The sheet would pull off when anyone moved and you ended up sleeping on the plastic wrapped around the mattress. There is no one around after 7:00 p.m. and the office is closed on Sundays. We were told there is an emergency number but were informed it would take them 30 minutes to get back if needed. We were visiting Monticello and the surrounding area and it's a good base. There is a full size kitchen, microwave and small oven but you have to bring everything if you want to use it. I'm not sure if we would stay there again but it was a decent price and ok for what we needed.
