Misleading Photos This property is awful! It is under renovations and just a mess. When we booked our room, we were not informed of the construction going on. The other guests we spoke with said the same thing. This place is old, smells, and is just not worth the price per night they are charging. This is a $50/night hotel on its best day. My hope is that it is being reno'ed inside as well as out, as the rooms are disgusting. When we checked in, our first room had large stains on the floor, the desk chair had a large tear in it, the room's AC was a window unit that was connected to an outlet with an extension cord running from the window, across the bathroom counter, to the only outlet in the bathroom. Basically, AC on the cheap. Our second room was barely slightly better. The beds are old and in dire need of replacement. The AC in this room was loud, with the unit hanging out the living area window. It, too, was installed on the cheap, with gaps on both sides which allowed flies to access our room from the outside. When we drove up to the property, we thought it was an abandoned building. The pictures they feature on their website are very misleading, which is why I'm sharing mine. Stay at your own risk. There is not one good thing I can say about this hotel. Usually, I can say something good about the staff, but they, too, care about as much about this place as the people who own/manage it - and that isn't a lot.

Horible We booked for two nights. My 2 grandchildren and I. We booked a room with two double beds and requested that we be in the main building. When arrive another person was complaining about not have new towels for three days so I was getting kind of nervous going up to the desk.after about 20 minutes waiting we were informed there were not rooms left in the main building and would have to stay across the street. We went across the street and went up on a very scary elevator and went in to our room. Must to my surprise there was one double bed and a small kitchen which we never wanted. Spent half an hour trying to get through to tell but they won’t answer calls. Went back across the street and waited again! This time for about 45 minutes. Now it’s coming on 7:30 pm . We are all hungry and tired and yes cranky. Tried to get a cot added to the room but they have no cots! Great! Fought with a manager and he finally agreed to refund my charges. Never, never will I go back there. Absolutely horrible experience!!!

Clean but dated rooms The rooms are clean but out dated. The entire hotel is outdated and breakfast was like a continental in the building you check into. They charged us for the service dog which I had to argue with them and have the amount removed the following morning. We weren’t in the room very long but it is close to everything and free parking. We stayed in the building across the street - there is a spooky tunnel under the road connecting the two buildings. They seriously need to fix the place up!

Won’t be back. We booked a king suite for our anniversary getaway. When we arrived the front desk personnel barely spoke to us at all and upon arriving in our room found it was a standard double room. When we went to the desk to find out what had gone on, the second person we saw there said “oh there’s been renovations so there is no room line that” which I would have liked to have known before having booked with this establishment. After expressing our deep disappointment the response was “well, what do you want me to do about it?” We had to basically fight for a reduction in price which was not that much overall. The hotel looks awful from the outside with peeling paint everywhere. Then to find out we were in the building across the sometimes busy street was another blow. Fortunately the weather was good but we had to cross for front desk, pool, gym and breakfast. The air conditioning in our room did not work - we had it on high fan and lowest temp but aside from making a lot of noise it did nothing. The second morning of our stay there wasn’t ANY hot water at all. I am not a happy camper with an ice cold shower ….. unless I AM actually camping which might have been a better idea this time. The free breakfast is in a clean room but there is barely anything but toast and bagels. The sheets were clean. The location was good because we could walk everywhere downtown without the vehicle.
