Pretty gross Hotel was dirty & smelly. Carpets smelled so bad throughout the hotel. Wouldn’t walk barefoot . Construction blocked entrance and exits. Room was dated and dingy. Bathroom definitely needs total remodel. On a positive note: Staff at front desk were nice and efficient. Nice sized outdoor pool (however need nicer pool towels and pool attendants need to be a little more personable to guests). Total overhaul needed at this hotel.

Horrible property This property is a dump. Might be undergoing "renovations" but the room that we got, and the rooms that our friends got, were horrible. The shower head had mold growing on it, so bad we wouldn't take a shower. There was mold and rust around bathroom fixtures and trim, paint was peeling, sections of the ceiling showed patching where pieces of the ceiling had deteriorated and been "repaired" - patched badly. One friend's room had a piece of ceiling that had fallen out and it hadn't been repaired. Carpet in our room and in the lobby had multiple tears. My wife used the public restroom, same mold problems, plus a hole in the wall and built up grime on baseboards. All the furniture in the lobby has holes and tears, the fabric seems to be disintegrating. We would not have expected this from a Hilton property; we selected this one because of the Hilton name and the pretty website and we recommended this to our friends - we are embarrassed that we did that.

not hilton worthy, run down The hotel is run down. We checked in dropped our luggage & promptly left for our event, when we returned to the room at 11pm the room was not cool. We lowered the temperature & attempted to sleep. We spent most of the night tossing & turning due to the warm temperature. In the morning we let the front desk know that the air conditioning was not working. We left for breakfast & when we returned upon opening the door the room had a terrible smell smack us in the face. They moved us to another room a couple hours later. Upon arriving in the second room we noted that the room was warm. We lowered the temperature but it was still warm in the room an hour later. We went to the front desk & she said they would send someone up to fix the air-conditioner. About 45 minutes later someone called the room to ask how we liked the room, we informed them we asked for the air to be checked as the room is warm & she did not seem to know this was requested. About 20 minutes later a repairman worked on the unit, it seemed to have worked. We left to run an errand, upon returning the room was not cooling again. It was time to leave for our event again so we stopped at the front desk, informed them that the AC was again not working but we were leaving and would not return until midnight. They were going to try to fix the AC again but if unsuccessful we would move rooms again. When we returned our card keys did not work & then we were informed we would need to move rooms again as they could not fix the AC. The room we were moved to finally was cool upon entering, we were able to sleep the second night. The furniture in the first & third rooms we were in were disgusting, stains all over the chairs! The furniture in lobby is very worn. Our first room had a broken toilet seat that should have been noted by housekeeping & fixed before letting someone in. Of the 3 front desk staff only 1 seemed to have empathy. Oh & in the last room when we tried to call the front desk about checkout we discovered the room phone had no cord.

Never again. I wanted to give 0 stars but that wasn’t an option. The one star is solely for the staff, who were all extremely accommodating. These rooms are terrible. We were given a room on the 4th floor bc it was renovated. After 15 minutes, we hear water hitting the floor. The AC was leaking in the vanity area. For a renovated room, it wasn’t. The wallpaper was peeling and there were cracks in the walls. We were moved to another room on 5, and it would’ve been “ok” if the seal from the top of the window wasn’t hanging off. Oh and the window frame is loose…and yes I shook it. The phone didn’t work. There was no soap in the shower for two days. What appears to be a bloodstain on the mattress cover. The AC unit sounds like a lawnmower. We just came back in to the hotel and there are a group of kids on the lobby yelling and playing soccer. I stayed here a few years ago and to say this hotel has gone downhill is an understatement. I’ll be sending this and pics to Hilton’s corporate office tomorrow.

Save some $ and stay here instead of Center City Philadelphia I am so glad my group decided on this hotel for our charity lacrosse tournament. I was lucky to get a renovated room but even the renovated rooms were appealing and clean. Unfortunately I had an even numbered room so I was jealous I didn't get a room overlooking the river with the Ben Franklin Bridge and the Philly skyline in the distance. Liked that the shower and commode had a door for privacy if someone else needed the vanity. Parking was amazing as they had overhead panels keeping car dry and somewhat cooled down. Great staff and a couple of them even greeted mevmy name each time I walked by. Unfortunately the only name I remembered was Miss Ruth. There were 2 other women who worked Friday night who were fantastic (I hope you enjoyed the cookies from our registration). The morning waiter at Embers was very attentive as well. Finally the pool was one of the largest I have ever seen for lodging. And the veranda was great for out pre and post tourney get together. Thank you again so much.
