Ant colony in bathroom… But there’s more! Also a spider living in room 119, just above microwave area. Hair of all shape, size, and color throughout entirety of room. Unimaginable amounts of dust bunnies, lamp on desk missing bulb, chair near tv heavily stained with who knows what, and for some reason (used/old) toilet paper found stashed in various places We have been traveling all day with our toddler and dog/this was the only pet friendly hotel in town. Checked in around 8PM, too late to go anywhere else—on top of being too exhausted from the trip. The photos speak for themself…

Budget and pet friendly Nice experience in last minute booking with family and my dog. Nice location, no issues with anything overall. I will defiantly recommend. Location is the best and I didn't want to go too far. So me my family enjoyed it.

This place is a boarding house - not safe. Don't do it! This was a last-minute trip and booking this hotel was a mistake. I chose this hotel based on location and that they accept pets. Let me begin by saying it started with the reservation. I specifically asked if they were a non-smoking facility and was told yes without hesitation by the young man who made my reservation. This was a lie. There is not one employee who works here that doesn’t know smoking is done by the owner and others on a regular basis. Upon late arrival and exhaustion, we were shown two rooms on the 1st floor near the front desk that someone had clearly smoked in and could tell they someone was literally smoking in one or more of the rooms near the front lobby. I even told the front desk woman that someone was smoking and no response from her. I specially asked if the hotel used to allow smoking, again no response. The 3rd room was on the 2nd floor and did not have a smoke odor but a low-grade odd smell. The furniture was dated and need to be polished and the inside frig was dirty. The soap had the nastiest smell I’ve never experienced so am glad I took my own. No hairdryer. The air conditioner leaked water which is a hazard. The owner and other people appear to be living at this hotel – weird all away around. I used the common restroom off the lobby to quickly wash my hands and there was a knock on the door. When I opened the door, it was the guy from the front desk, believed to be the owner – beyond freaking WEIRD and CREEPY. In the a.m., someone swiped a key card in our door. I thought it was someone making a mistake about the room they were in. The dog kept barking and when I looked down the hall, it was an employee who swiped our room door?????? This place is a boarding house and not a safe place to stay.

That Motel Smell Convenient location, right off the interstate and close to the Dunes. If you have asthma, skip this one. It smells of smoke and must. My nose finally went blind to the smell after a few hours. The rooms seemed clean, but very dated. You get what you pay for with this one, so buyer beware.

Don’t do it The location is great, but that’s it. The rooms are outdated and dark. The AC was very loud and kept waking me up. There were liquid stains on walls—not sure what it was. The chain lock looked like it had been reattached a few times. Would NOT recommend. Didn’t feel safe or clean.
