Business trip to Chicago Was here for business meetings for a few days. Overall a very good trip. Awieh and Reggie were super friendly and helpful at checkin and during my stay. Was able to arrange a slightly later checkout on my departure day. The building is older, the rooms are a little smaller than a new building and the elevators are pretty small so I had to wait for a few different elevators during busy morning checkout times. But the cleaning crew did a great job, and the other staff was very helpful. My room overlooked the L, but I could hardly hear it which was nice when I had to get up and ready for early meetings. Very convenient to a lot of restaurants and other venues.

A great hotel for a business trip, theater visit or just a romantic weekend. The Allegro Royal Sonesta in the Chicago loop is a great hotel. It is close to various theaters and great food. Love the architecture of the building and it is great to see that they have kept some old timey pieces, like the chandeliers. The rooms are clean an quiet and made daily. The doormen are very helpful and always willing to tell you something about the history of the building. I would recommend staying here over the other two Royal Sonesta hotels in the area.

Visit Chicago Christmas market with Citrus The hotel, staff, rooms, linens, pillows were awesome. We had our dog with us and the staff were all friendly with him as well. Alonso Garcia the doorman and Monica working the front desk helped make this adventure amazing. Thank you to all that make this hotel one of the best I have stayed in in a large city!

Best staff and comfortable rooms I’ve visited Chicago many times, but this was my first time at the Allegro Royal Sonesta and I’ve decided it’ll be my go-to every time I’m in Chicago. The rooms were comfortable, the amenities were nice, the lobby was very spacious and a nice space to just hang out at. The person that made this trip the most enjoyable though was Alonzo, the doorman. I’ve never experienced such kindness and professionalism. He does his job very well and engages with all the guests so well. I got to experience this personally as well as watch him engage with everyone else. From my arrival to my departure, he was very kind and helpful. Looking forward to staying here again!

Royal Sonesta treated us like royalty Everything about my stay was fantastic I definitely recommend joining up as a Sonesta Travel Pass Member which had great perks for our stay. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I would like to commend Hetal at the front desk for her professionalism and friendliness, too. We loved the morning coffee and the comfortable, spacious lobby area where we could enjoy a peaceful drink. The bar was hopping after the theater next door let out. By the way, the Cadillac Theater next door was so convenient as well as distance to the lakefront for shopping and relaxing by the Bean. I will definitely stay here again.
