Great location, if a little bit dusty. Pros: The location of this hotel is amazing. It's steps away from the riverwalk and boat tours. SOME of the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. This is right in the heart of downtown Chicago with many restaurants and attractions close by. Cons: I would not recommend that anyone with mobility issues book this hotel. This is not the place to stay if you need to shower without standing. Front desk staff approachability seemed inconsistent. This could be because Lallapalooza was happening and there was a lot going on while I was staying there. It was clear that in some of the rooms up to six party people were sharing one space. My room was super dusty, which made it hard for me to sleep--as I have serious dust allergies.

Stunning Hotel in the best area of Chicago I spent a wonderful holiday because the place is strategic (in the middle of Chicago, near the subway) and beautiful (in front of one of the most beautiful bridges). Free water and coffee is an important added value! Staff is very kind and thoughtful. Next time I'll book here for sure!

Hotel Cutting Corners The hotel and room was clean. Elevator had strange smell in it like someone was sick there in the no so recent past. The room had several maintenance issues such as constantly running A/C fan keeping you up all night, TV not working, toilet constantly running, headboard coming loose from the wall. The hotel has installed self-serve kiosks instead of a true front desk obviously meant to cut costs. The only thing that the place had going for it was its location.

Exceptional Hotel Experience Very nice hotel and a very good experience from check in to check out. I have stayed in hotels at least 60-70 days out of the year the last few years, and this was my favorite hotel stay since Vancouver years ago. I had a room with an amazing river view. Centrally located, pretty much everything you need is in walking distance.
