Great loop hotel. We went for a 3 night stay during Lollapalooza. My family had a great time. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great. Only a 5 minute walk to Grant Park, Millennium Park, Michigan Ave. The valet was great and the hotel watched our luggage after checkout so we we could enjoy Chicago a few more hours. We booked adjoining rooms which gave us extra room to spread out. The rooms are a good size. One room had a microwave and each room had a mini fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were great. Lots of counter space, big shower and large mirror. We’ll definitely be back.

Great location but awkward hotel Great location but not what you would expect from a Hampton Inn. Odd layout. Rooms are pretty good but the lobby is tight and breakfast was awkward. Staff was OK but seemed shorthanded and not overly friendly. OK for the price, but meh otherwise.

Weird check-in policy I stayed recently, arriving at 3:52 pm, and was told that even though my room was ready, I would need to pay a $25 "early check-in fee" or wait for 8 minutes in the lobby, as check-in is a 4 pm. I've been a loyal Hilton customer for years, and, while I like this particular property, I won't stay there again. Repeated follow-ups to Hilton's customer-service department have soured me on the entire Hilton brand, unfortunately.

In the center of it all! This hotel was exceptional in service and cleanliness. We stayed four nights. Slept great in quiet rooms and very comfy beds. I ran into a problem with my booking and the awesome assistant general manager Claire’s Morris resolved the issue within minutes. A day later in our stay, one of our friends fell and hurt her knee. The very friendly professional front desk clerk Robin found a cane for my friend to use so she could hobble comfortably. We had a lot of fun and laughs. Breakfast was above satisfactory. Coffee was excellent. I highly recommend the Hampton Majestic. It is close to everything, especially you are right in the middle of the theater district. A few blocks from Millennium Park. A don’t miss is the Art Institute of Chicago. Catching a subway to go to Wrigley Field was very easy. We could not fit it all in three full days and plan to come back in the near future and stay once again at the Hampton Majestic. I need to add don’t miss taking the architectural boat tour. So many beautiful buildings in this great city of Chicago. Don’t miss getting excellent coffee and fresh baked pastries from The Goddess and the Baker around the corner.

GOOD EXPERIENCE This hotel offers excellent service. I highlight its cleanliness, modern rooms and its location. Their staff is very professional and helpful. The location is good since it is close to shops, restaurants, among others. I loved being in that hotel.
