Perfect family stay Check in was perfect and easy. The hotel is close to a lot of activities we were there for the taste of Chicago and it was only about 15 drive to the room. My family loved the big pool and it was warm.We will definitely be staying at this location again.

Very good and thanks for asking The hotel is gorgeous and the buffet would be even better with "grits" and oatmeal. There were no grits. I asked and was informed that the buffet would contain qrits and oatmeal. Everyone at the hotel said, yes. That was a big disappointment with "no grits". I'm just throwing that out for future reference. But, whoever hired Ms. (Mrs) Putri did a great hire. I had an issue with the internet connection and the water system. She was Johnny on the spot and ensured everyone knew the situation and what the COA was. She was very patient and kind and I truly appreciated that coming from Texas. Poorly staffed housekeeping department. I put the privacy please sign up for an hour at 3 pm after being gone since 9 am. We returned at 7 pm and the room hadn’t been cleaned all day. The front desk offered excuses and the room was never cleaned. On the last day of the stay housekeeping knocked at the door at 9am to verify we were leaving.

Horrible Customer Service. I prepaid for a room for my daughter and when she arrived at 10pm they had given her room away. One person I spoke with said it was because she was 20 and not 21. The manager then said that because I booked 3rd party through Expedia it was no longer available. My daughter said the person at the front desk yelled at her. When I spoke to the manager they were rude and unapologetic for the overbooking and basically said we were out of luck. Horrible customer service. Ended up booking a room on Marriott’s website and followed up with the front desk at the Sheraton and had a much better experience.

Not safe in their hands. The hotel was no classy place to stay anyway, kinda smelly and dated BUT Would not allow us to take shelter during multiple tornado warnings for two days in a row!!! Told us we were not allowed in the lobby either. Was made fun of by people at the front desk. Said there is no protocol and that Chicago doesn’t get tornados because off the lake and skyscrapers. There was a basement they refused us to stand down there. Harassed us in the lobby saying we need to go upstairs. Said they “are not a shelter” I have videos but I cannot figure out how to post them. We were complaining the first night to corporate and still not heard back from corporate days later. The weather channel said Chicago hasn’t seen weather like this since 2020 and I at least took screenshots of them harrassing us in the lobby and guarding the basement. TEN Tornados on the ground and being treated like that was crazy
