Great Service and Great Associates I apologize that it has taken me so long to write this review. This hotel was fantastic. From the moment we arrived, it was outstanding. Courtney was so kind and accommodating. First impressions are the most lasting and she made that happen. Lupita and Jeremy during breakfast made our mornings cheerful even before the coffee kicked in. I brought my husband to Chicago for his birthday for the first time and this hotel made it so great for him. We were close to everything and the L train was one block away. Keep up the good work and even though we did not meet everyone, all associates said hi every time you passed them throughout the hotel. The most outstanding thing that I witnessed being in the hospitality business myself was Courtney dealing with a situation. It was with a valet driver down on the first floor who refused to do something for a guest. She handled it so professionally when the driver turned it into a difficult one. But she put the guest first and that is what makes the difference. After Covid, service sucks almost everywhere and no one cares one way or another. What sets them apart from the rest is that they do not forget customer service. I can't wait to go back. Scott Duplechain

Dirty They hotel is in a great location, so I was excited to when I booked it. As a Hilton member I have never had an issue with room cleanliness before. When I got to the room, there was dirt all over the floors from the previous stay. There was also what appeared to be black mold on the ceiling above the shower. The rooms are in dire need of a re-model.

Amazing Location, Amenities, and Service in CHI! Honestly can't think of a better place to stay if you are traveling with kids to CHI. We drove in from south of the city and, as far as city driving goes, SO easy. The location was pretty much perfection - we used SpotHero to park about three doors down from the hotel right on Grand Ave and it was a super quick walk with our luggage to the hotel. Check-in was a breeze and the room was beyond spacious. The kitchen area is even more than we needed but offered extra space so we weren't falling all over each other and could also stash all of our drinks and snacks. Our kids, 9 and 11, slept on the pull-out couch and said it was great. Our bed was spacious and comfy and, for someone who can never get a sound night's sleep in a hotel, I can attest that it was actually quiet and comfortable - even the temperature was perfect! There was adequate space for our suitcases and the closet fit everything our family of four needed to hang. My husband and kids used the indoor pool each day and loved it - nothing special, but our kids aren't picky about hotel pools and it gave them something to do during down time. The breakfast staff were amazingly friendly and accomodating and worked non-stop to make sure everyone's needs were met and the food was always stocked. There was plenty of variety so that everyone in our family could get something they liked - scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, home fries or tator tots, oatmeal, cereals, fruit, muffins/bagels/breads with plenty of butter, cream cheese, and jelly. Coffee was always piping hot and there were both mugs and to-go cups with lids. The only downside about the room that I can think of was that there wasn't a full-length mirror, but, honestly, that is a very small complaint! The hotel is across the street from Nordstrom (perfect), there are SO many cafes and restaurants within walking distance, Eataly is just around the corner, and it's less than a block to hop on the L. We took the subway to Wrigley Field for a tour and it was so easy - just take the Red Line north and you're there in about 20-25 mins. Also, this hotel is VERY close to the Chicago Riverwalk - I would say 5-10 minutes! We did an Architecture River Tour and it was less than 15 minutes to walk to our meeting spot. We also walked to Millenium Park to see the Bean (which is adjacent to the Art Institute) and did shopping on the Magnificent Mile and it was all walkable. We went to a concert at Huntington Bank Pavilion on Northerly Island and took an Uber there (~20 mins) and the L back to the hotel. I highly, highly recommend this hotel!!

Horrible service and very unhelpful people. If I could give zero stars I would. My family and I made reservations for July 23 to July 26 we booked in advance and even got the confirmation for it. Only for us to arrive and the receptionist to tell us that they cancelled our reservation and gave our room to someone else without even a single warning. They were absolutely no help and brushed us off like nothing. Ya’ll are so lucky my father is a very kind person because I would’ve grabbed someone if I wasn’t in the car, we drove 15 hours excited to stay in this nice hotel. Only for them to straight up tell us they gave our room to someone else. Please be careful when making bookings here.

Don't trust the connecting room promise As a long time 20+ years, Hilton loyal customer I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. We had to argue and complain for over an hour with the manager to get them to honor the connecting rooms guarantee on my reservation. We had to change rooms for the last three nights to get connecting rooms. The new rooms had mold in the bathroom. Using the shower flooded the kitchen area. The elevator was beyond slow. We had to use the service elevator one day as the two main ones were broken. Management did not care.
