Excellent hotel Great hotel. Great location. Excellent customer service. Management and staff treat you like you really matter. Rooms are clean and well kept. Service with a smile. Would highly recommend for a stay in Chicago. Right on Magnificent Mile.

Clean, well maintained, good service. Comfortable beds and very comfortable pillows. We slept great. The pullout couch felt newer and clean and the throw pillows seemed new and clean as well. Helpful staff, friendly housekeeping and room service. The bathroom and room felt clean and well maintained. Very happy with our stay, honestly our room was nicer than the pics convey.

Cockroaches The staff were nice and accommodating for the most part. It is a good location which was the reason for booking here. However, the cons far outweighed the pros in this hotel. The street noise was super loud, as if there was zero noise control in the building itself. This could be due to being an older building though so it wasn’t the end of the world. The part of the stay that really ruined our experience was going to use the washroom the last night of our 3 night stay and seeing a cockroach. A large American cockroach. If I didn’t see this thing then we would’ve never known the room had them. This was truly awful and unsanitary. It made our skin crawl knowing we had stayed in a room with full blown cockroaches. We had to sterilize and sanitize all of our clothing and luggage to ensure we were not bringing home any of these bugs and/or their eggs. We were moved to another room on the other side of the building with no sign of cockroaches. Listen, I can appreciate that even 4 star hotels can run into this concern, however, I do not think it is acceptable to charge us for almost the entire stay and comp 1 night + the resort fees. I genuinely expected an entire refund. This really put a damper on our first stay in Chicago and we will not be returning nor recommending this hotel to anyone. Please note, our room number was 3504.

Wonderful weekend in Chicago Great location,very clean,mostly the daily cleaning and bed making with daily replenished water bottles and coffeee stuf.Affordable nightly rate.Staff are friendly and courteous.Elevators are abundant and quick,I love their beddings,the bathroom is modern and spacious.

Came for business, couldn't help but feel the pleasure Came to attend a conference in the hotel. It was amazing. The classic details were well cared for, the modern conveniences just right, like the starbucks in the lobby. The property is historic, convenient, clean and comfortable. Just the right thing to visit the center of Chicago. Walking distance from everything you want to see in a visit that includes river tours, architecture, history, the lake, and of course the famous food.
