Great hard product with a miserable check-in experience. The Chicago Avenue Suite is fantastic. Extremely comfortable, functional, high tech. Globalist breakfast is hearty and delicious. Where this hotel falters, and it's directly the fault of Shawn Delvin, Rooms Manager, is the horrendous check-in experience. I've already written him a detailed email outlining the issues, and also spoke to him personally about it as it was happening, so I'll spare the details here. But let's just say I've never had such a terrible check-in experience at a luxury hotel as I did a tthis one.

The best birthday staycation The Park Hyatt certainly knows how to treat a girl right on her birthday. Everything was amazing from the beginning check in experience, the view from and size of my room, dinner at NoMi, the absolutely incredible breakfasts, my relaxing spa treatment, as well as the gym and pool. The location in the city can't be beat either.

Just go! The staff is warm friendly and helpful. Location is great. I loved the pool and hot tub so much. Beautiful rooms, big tubs and rainfall shower. Bar and restaurant outside area was a real treat to be in. I appreciated the extra kindness and will stay again. Oh and the gym is top notch to work off the Chicago dogs and pizza. Thank you for giving me a memorable stay!

Great hotel and great stay Our lake view room was very nice. Staff very attentive. Breakfast at NoMI very good. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Luxurious birthday trip Our stay at the Park Hyatt Chicago for our children’s birthdays was an extraordinary experience. Our room was upgraded to a serene suite, which was meticulously clean and spacious. We were met with Parker the Park Hyatt Pug stuffed animals, children’s robes, and slippers for the girls, who were ecstatic with their new plush companions. That evening, we found a lovely note wishing the girls a happy birthday, along with a stunning chocolate cake adorned with berries and gold leaf. Our delicious room service breakfast the next morning arrived quickly, was piping hot, and beautifully plated. Every single staff member exemplified warmth and hospitality, making our stay enchanting. We thoroughly enjoyed every facet of our visit, and eagerly anticipate our return to the Park Hyatt Chicago!
