Great option in this area If you're a tourist or have business in the area and you've decided on this neighborhood, the Westin Michigan Avenue is an excellent option. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the lobby is modern, and the staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful. For the dates I stayed, I also found the price to be much more reasonable than some nearby properties that I knew were equal or inferior.

Excellent location The location is great and the staff was very nice. Our room was nice, also, although it could have been a bit more clean. Common areas are nice. There is a small "grab and go" place with snacks but no open restaurants in the hotel. We had a nice stay

Lovely I like the location of this hotel a lot. You can walk everywhere! And you are right on the river too. I had lovely views out my window and the hotel was very clean and nice. I’d go backs gain for sure. You have to ask them specifically if you want your room cleaned but this may be an eco friendly thing.

Quick weekend trip I'm a bit confused by the barely-four star rating and some of the reviews hating on this place. We stayed here this past weekend and the property was nothing short of immaculate. Also some of the best front desk staff I've encountered in quite a while. The restaurant was closed however there are plenty of other options in the neighborhood and in my opinion you should only eat at a hotel restaurant as a last resort anyway. Definitely one of the better Westin properties I've stayed at.

Best smelling hotel This is the best smelling hotel I have ever stayed . You walk in and what a beautiful smell. Veronica at the front desk was great and so happy to finally welcoming guests probably. Seka from housekeeping was so friendly and nice that it felt good to be back at a hotel. Hearing that the hotel was closed for a year , I am just happy that it is back in business. The location is excellent for people wanting to spend money . Or just go to the Observation Tower next door and finish with a meal at the Cheesecake Factory downstairs. Wonderful location so you have a lot of options.
