Ummmmm..... This hotel claims to be a boutique hotel, but I found it to be "BOO" tique hotel. The room we stayed in was dilapidated and cramped. The bathroom ceiling was peeling off in chunks, a nice line of mold in the shower, and the lighting was poor, giving off a dirty creepy vibe. If you would like your room cleaned- you must request it 24 hours in advance. Bring your basic hygiene supplies (soap, shampoo, lotion,,,,), in that the hotel offers limited and tiny amounts. Our room key was also an issue. It constantly stopped working. Now the good part.... This hotel is in a fantastic location for accessibility to all the fun things to do in Chicago. The staff is professional and helpful. The hotel has so much potential to be a showpiece of Chicago, but it missed the mark when we were there.

Bad Upon arrival I was greeted by someone behind the desk who helped me check in. She charged my card and said that everything was paid for and ready to go before giving me my room keys. So my girl friend, her sister, and I went up to our room to rest after driving all day. Once we got into the room we noticed the fridge wasn’t working and neither was the fan, but that wasn’t too big of a deal since we wouldn’t be staying in the room too often. But the main problem that occurred was when we were checking out. I checked out online and it told me to drop off the keys in the box by the front desk, so as I was doing so, a different lady behind the desk then began to yell at me to stop before telling the other people she was helping to move out of the way to talk to me. She asked me what room I was staying in and the proceeded to tell me that I owed her more money for the stay. I was in shock because I already had charges on my card for the deposit and the nights we stayed. I asked her what the new charges were for and she said that it was taxes. I don’t understand why the First Lady that helped me on the arrival date said we were all good and charged me for everything before giving me my room keys. And why the last lady I had to deal with was so rude and kept telling me I owed her money and that she couldn’t give me an itinerary of the charges until I paid her.

Great spot for a weekend getaway Conveniently located, great value hotel. Parking garage was just across the street. The staff was super friendly and helped us navigate the events in the city. 10/10 would definitely stay here again. We arrived early, at about 11am, and our room wasn’t ready, but they offered to keep our bags so we could enjoy the city. We were able to park early, so we ended up walking to Navy Pier and spent the day lake side.

Old and worn out This must’ve been a pretty nice hotel back in the day, but it’s clear that the effort to maintain its past glory has not been made. everything is old and worn, most room amenities work OK, but many are faulty. If you just need a place to sleep in an amazing location, this is it. But if you actually want a nice clean functional hotel room look elsewhere.

Boys trip to the ball game! Great boutique hotel. Well appointed room. Terrific price and an excellent value. Grandson and I spent the night after our Cubs game. Well located just off Magnificent Mile! Close to the CTA red line for a quick ride to Wrigley! Will DEFINITELY stay here again!
