Look for another hotel!!!! One previous reviewer noted, "how is this a Holiday Inn Express & Suites!!!!!" and I strongly second that feeling! This hotel was a dump! When we walked up to the hotel, my first indication was the blinds in the office that were all broken and at all different angles. This may seem like a small thing but it certainly was a indicator of the rest of the property. First off, the elevator floor was dirty. The room was dark, the carpeting looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and it was torn and unraveling right by the door. The light switches looked like they had been installed in the 60's and actually looked unsafe. The bathroom door wouldn't stay open unless you used the door stop attached to the door which was quite inconvenient, particularly in the middle of the night. We've stayed at numerous HIE&S and I've never not wanted to spend the night. We had booked three nights and decided to cancel the remaining two nights. And considering the shape of the room, etc., we opted to eat breakfast at a nearby Waffle House! The only good thing about this hotel was the bed. It was clean and comfy, but overall we were never so happy to check out of a hotel.

Nice hotel, quiet and comfortable. Overall it was a very nice hotel. The room was nice and comfortable. The day we checked in the outside temp was in the mid to upper 90s but the A/C in the hotel lobby and halls was not on. That made for a not as pleasant experience. A/C in the room was fine.

Hole in the wall holiday inn. A crusty not cleaned well hotel. Outside looked decent and lobby was nice. The room was not cleaned well and definitely needs just a good cleaning. Bathroom was not to the quality of the holiday inn brand. This was a type of room you want to keep slippers on at all times, even in the shower. Not sure if every room is like this but I can image it is with the lack of maintenance down to this room. You can tell them don’t deep clean their rooms.

How in the world is this a Holiday Inn Express!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I drove into the parking lot and saw no cars, I thought, "Uh Ohh." When I talked into my room and the heat was turned off, I thought, "Uh Ohh. When I told the desk manager that I was planning on using the pool the next day with my grandkids and I saw the look on his face, I thought, "Uh Ohh." "Uh Ohh" was right. I don't often leave a hotel angry. I did this one. We went to Kings Island's Winterfest and stayed at this hotel because it was a Holiday Inn Express. Normally, these hotels are of a good caliber. Not this one. So we came home after the Kings Island event and went to bed. The beds were comfortable. That is about all I can say. The next morning we woke up and walked to the subpar Holiday Inn Express Breakfast. Minimal at best. Pancakes the size of drink coasters, Yogurts half a cup, Only fruit was bananas. Special "K' with berries was corn flakes. If they ran out of anything, well wasn't replaced because they said they were out of the item. Coffee was gone and not refilled at breakfast! We walked to the pool that was advertised in the picture's on the website. Indoor pool. We walk in, expecting to go swimming and there was a 40 degree room with water that was freezing. Disappointed Grandkids. Frustrated Grandpa. So, we walked into the fitness room to see if there was anything they could do. Dirty, moldy, carpet need cleaned beyond cleaning. How in the world is this a Holiday Inn Express!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do NOT go here if you want the Holiday Express experience. So, I then checked the TripAdvisor reviews, (I wish I did before hand). The responses are automotive and exactually the same for each review. Bare minimum, not what I expected from a Holiday Inn Express.

Bed bugs Checked in a bed begs (photo proof). Got moved to a room that smelled of mold and cat pee. Was told no more moves can be made because all the rooms are taken. Was told I couldn’t cancel because I was already checked in. Room was falling apart. Bathroom shower rod was broken to the point that the curtain was want to slide to the middle of the rod every time.
