Clearwater treasure hotel My family stayed at the Clearwater Marriott in sands key. It exceeded our expectations. Everyone was courteous and the hotel was clean. The amenities were great. I must give a shout out to Jennifer at the front desk. She helped us plan our daily activities with a smile. A great hotel for families. Good food too. Excellent customer service.

Excellent Time at Marriott Clearwater Sand Key We stayed the week of July 4th and had a fabulous time. We have been coming to the Marriott Sand Key for over 25 years. The staff at the hotel always make you feel welcome and they have become family. Mikel Lopez is the best in the business!!! He goes above and beyond to make your stay a perfect vacation. Kimi, Kara and Brandon at the Pool side lounge take excellent care of you and have become good friends. The hotel always looks fabulous. Bob and Wilmer always greet you with a smile and offer to help with any needs you may have. I can't say enough about the Marriott. The rooms are wonderful, the pool is awesome, the restaurant has a great breakfast and the best steak and crab cakes at the beach. We usually visit at least 2 times and sometimes 3 times a year. We love our home away from home and will continue to visit as long as we are able to do so. Thanks for always making it a great vacation!!!! Brian and Jackie Potter Johnson City, Tennessee

Could use some work.. Just OK My wife and I stayed here for 3 days while celebrating her birthday. My 1st big disappointment was that mask were not mandated on the inside spaces and elevators. The have up a sign that only 4 people can be in the elevator at a time (unless you’re family), but there was no one there to enforce it. As far as the staff is concerned, they were pretty good and very helpful. The night guy, not so much. He seemed like he just wanted to give you a short answer so you can go away. Now the concierge guy was Amazing (forgot his name). He went out of his way to make sure that you knew all the area had to offer. The pool area was nice also. The waitresses were very helpful and always attentive. I almost forgot about the hostess for breakfast inside the hotel was awesome also. The room was ok. The living room area could use a little updating. They also need a new plan for getting towels out of rooms if they’re not going to clean your room daily. Great view of the harbor from all rooms at this property. Lastly, the beach area is not what I thought it would be. It’s a short walk, but it was not what I expected. We ended up going to Clearwater Beach and there’s a reason why it’s the top Beach. The beach near the hotel is not as crowded and you won’t have to pay for parking, which can be expensive. All in all, this should be a nice stay if you’re looking to come to the area.

Great getaway Spent this past weekend at the resort with a few of my sisters. My favorite hotel in Clearwater, Florida. I especially love the gorgeous views from my balcony, the best hotel swimming pool in the state of Florida, delicious food served in their restaurants and excellent and friendly customer service.

Great stay, good food, fun pool! Our spring break stay was great and having the extra hangout room gave everyone extra space. Our balcony was neat to watch dolphins, but I wish it was beach front. It was tricky to get to the main Clearwater Beach because there were NO Ubers and the bus was often full, but we made due. The walk over the bridge looked terrible and we didn't even attempt to make the hike. We walked across the street to the other Marriott property and enjoyed the beach there. It was WAY less crowded than the beaches on Clearwater Island and I'm sure our umbrella rental was less money. The restaurant was delicious and we were so happy to have sushi! We at the plaza next door a few times- especially breakfast! Columbia Restaurant is fancy and you need a reservation.
