Hotel Closing - not disclosed on website and a little creepy Didn’t realize it had been sold last April and is going to be an older care facility. Stayed here many years ago and it was a great place to bring the kids for the pool. The pool and bar are closed now for the remodel, wasn’t told up front when making the reservation, just when we checked in. Room seems clean but very limited towel supplies. The jacuzzi controls have been removed from the tub. Heat controls in the room also not working. Safety chain not connected to the door frame. A little creepy. Lady at the desk was nice but seemed sad about the closing. Only $80 but starting to think it wasn’t worth it. Asked how long it would still be open and the lady said till the end of the year but they are still taking reservations into January.

Record Breaking Ride We went to Michigan for a record breaking ride, the most Indian Motorcycles in a parade. Our stay was for only one night but we had a very good experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, it was clean, large bathroom and the bed was comfortable, The hotel does have a pool and exercise room unfortunately we did not get the opportunity to use them, we did however to use the Tiki Bar, the bartender was very good. When we returned from dinner it was nice to go there instead of sitting in our rooms. My husband and I have family not too far from there so when we go to visit we plan to stay here. There was not a restaurant at the hotel but they did offer a complimentary hot breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, sausages and waffles along with cereal and all the bread products you would like to have at breakfast.

FUN WEEKEND Excellent room and amenities, . Great facilities and wonderful breakfast in the morning.Staff was wonderful, room was clean, jacuzzi was great. All around great experience and relaxing atmosphere. Will visit again soon.

Great staff, facilities need upgrade Pros: great staff that addresses concerns and needs. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Cons: It took three tries to get a minimally acceptable room. The first room appeared to have been updated somewhat, but with only one low wattage lamp, it was hard to tell. When I attempted to report that to the desk, I discovered the phone didnt work. Our second room, although dated, seemed to have light and basics. But the door would not lock. Our last room was satisfactory, but certainly not worth the cost. It was basic. Only a single cup coffee maker. No fridge, microwave, room safe, or other extras you find in the national chains. Bedding was old and worn, as well.

Rude staff, disgusting rooms. Visited Michigan for a wedding. Most of the guests stayed at this hotel; all were disappointed. Bride found an open condom box in her pull out couch. Front desk had to comp their entire stay. Luckily, a very sweet maid, brought in her own Lysol and disinfected the entire room for them. Which just shows more-so that even the staff know the lack of quality and cleanliness. No hot water in one of our rooms. WiFi was spotty at best and barely got reception in rooms. Bed had no fitted sheet or comforter, thin sheets over a mattress topper. All rooms have jacuzzi tubs, which would be nice, if the bottoms of the tubs were not lined with soap scum, making it a death trap to try and get in and out. Molding around ceiling was hanging off of the wall with nails sticking out. Room was hot and humid, to the point that the carpets were moist. Large tube TV that got a total of 19 channels blurred and off color. Front desk staff seemed constantly bothered and annoyed by any request. Even went as far to tell the bride, in her wedding dress, we don’t handle banquets not my problem before she could even ask for something that had nothing to do with the banquet hall. Had high hopes from the pictures the hotel had provided. Definitely not worth $100 per night.
