Was the best get away once upon a time... This was a unique and beautiful getaway which we retreated to many times, but then the new owners removed pet accommodations which ruined it for us. It was such a solid pet place with walks around and rooms perfect for furry friends. It was a bad move IMO. Pet owners are way more cool to deal with in my experience, now that I have an Airbnb and when traveling in better hotels, I prefer to be around more easy going guests with pets, like myself and pet owning friends I know feel the same. Maybe they’ll catch on but the Dogless rarely do. Can’t teach an old dog new tricks? :) Conditions apply and pet owners expect that, but they just don’t even try here. Tried to go back once but nothing was the same. And now, since losing my husband, I don’t want to travel without my pup who is indeed, best friend. Never really liked to travel without before either. Anyway, loved being greeted by the old staff, the valet and restaurant. Now, it just kinda stinks. Such a shame.

Great Food Great service and very good food. The view of the water is spectacular. There is outdoor and indoor seating. Unfortunately will disappear with planned construction. I would recommend to go before this landmark is gone.

The location is great but the restaurant is tired looking I had lunch in this restaurant twice. The location is great. Their restaurant needs retouch and are tired looking. We had pizzas. Food was good but the service was very slow. This beautiful place will certainly get better.
