Manager Shelia yelling and unstable. Flat out rude & unwilling to listen to customers experience at the hotel. It was the worst hotel stay of my life because of the manager named Shelia. I checked in at night so I was tired and just needed a place to sleep. When I went to use the bathroom there was a dirty q tip on the floor and upon further inspection it looked like the bathroom floor had not been cleaned whatsoever. Upon going to bed it also seemed like the sheets were very sandy I'm not sure why but there was probably dirt in there. I just needed a place to sleep so I decided to stick it out and tell the manager in the morning because I was extremely tired. There was also several times where I was woken up by yelling outside of my door at 12 and at 2 AM which was extremely disturbing for a traveling solo female. The staff was very nice but when I spoke to the manager Shelia over the phone she interrupted me before I could even finish telling her my experience and started yelling at me. I tried to mention to her that it probably wasn't housekeeping that caused this issue it was probably management because it sounded like housekeeping was understaffed in that location specifically and they probably were hurrying to get all the rooms done. She was extremely rude and unpleasant deal with because her tirade was definitely uncalled for and she seemed unstable. I am certain this is not the first time a customer has had an uncalled for experience with the the manager Shelia. It was by far the worst hotel stay ever not because of the lack of cleanliness of the room but because of management itself. I will never return to that specific location again nor will I ever use Econo Lodge if that's the sort of management they hire. I feel bad for the staff who have her as a boss as she seems completely ignorant of what goes on in the hotel and unwilling to hear constructive experiences and criticism that might actually help the rating of the hotel itself.

unpleasant and dissatisfied From the time my partner and i checked in we experienced problems due to our reservation from booking.com. The front desk agent who btw was a sweet lady called her manager to see why she wasn't receiving the booking. Needless to say the manager is the one who have control over 3rd party booking and blamed booking.com. She ended up giving me her rate that she claimed was cheaper which wasn't. After waiting outside with our things for over 2 1/2 hours soaking wet from our flooded apt which brought us here in the first place. Our booking was still incorrect even after we was charged. First incident she called several times which she do daily around 9:30. After explaining to her and showing her the transactions on my phone which she refused to look at i began to call 911. As they where in route she confirmed she had received the payment receipt . I never once got irate nor confrontational even though i felt mistreated if front of other guest and my spouse. She also had maintenance beating on my door before 11:00 . She had also so the maintenance guy to disturb me one of them days after we had spoken and once i explained she had already taken the payment nd i has spoken with her fearfully he stated that she will be come very irate and call the police on me. All this would take place prior to my 11:00 check out time. Today was my last day, i stopped by the office to let her know that i'll be out as soon as i meet with my landlord and if i could pay to do the 12:00 late check out for $10 . which she had offered the other day when she was trying to put me out. I ended up actually needing a few more nights but was in the process of booking another room and gathering my belongings when she knocked at the door around 11:10 screaming ordering for us to get out. opening curtains and throwing our personal belongings in a trash can. flipped over our sheets and pulled the table in front of the door to keep it open while yelling. We are already going through a tough time and did nothing to deserve this. She has a great team of workers but she treats them poorly as well from what i saw those days i was there. She knocked on my door once and forced herself into the room knocking my partner towards the wall. Also i asked about the amenities before checking in and all where unavailable, when ask about the pooki was told i good swim at my own risk i saw the pool for the first time today and it was gang green. So i'm assuming she thought it was a joke to offer that

Bed bugs Well, there's bed bugs so.....there's that. Aside from bedbugs, it was a decent room. I mean, I don't know what I expected from a $34 hotel but I wouldn't stay here. I stayed here with my boyfriend for 1 night. We were going to stay 4 but we both woke up with tons of bites and I was too grossed out to stay another night.

Easy Budget on the Road First time I stayed at the property and my impression of the lobby with the Texas A&M logo in front of the fireplace. The hotel is not a upscale , but it is easy location to campus and the King Size beds had all the amenities I needed. I'm glad they had restaurants close by that I could walk to and grab some dinner. The price were reasonable compared to other properties I had seen on the internet. I will be coming back to stay again at the Econolodge College Station.
