Nice breakfast, nasty banquet food The hotel was beautiful, the breakfast is the best we’ve ever had at a hotel, everything was so nice. Until….. we walked into room 219 and it smelled cigarette smoke. We had a reunion dinner there. I got 3 Impossible patties stacked on each other for the vegetarian meal. They had been microwaved and the patties were gray. There was red sauce on one side and gray sauce on the other. Chef, eggplant Parmesan is vegetarian, so is cheese/mushroom ravioli. If there isn’t time to cook those things, go to King Soopers and buy something out of the frozen food case because that dinner (which cost $60) ruined my entire experience.

Great place for an Antarctic reunion! An Antarctic organization I am a member of had our reunion at the hotel. One surprise I had was that it was a few miles from the airport thus the Uber ride was a bit pricy. The ES is situated with several other large hotels so there must be a reason for its location. The check in was very easy and the staff were helpful and friendly. I received the room I had requested a second-floor king bed. The room was well set up with refrigerator, microwave, safe and a good bathroom with shower and tub. It was a suite with separate bedroom and room to entertain in the living room. The room was a bit dated, but everything was fine, and I found it very comfortable. The hotel is structured with a large indoor courtyard which I really like versus the standard long hallways. It could get a little noisy in the courtyard area, but you didn't hear much inside the room. The hotel is dated but is to undergo an entire renovation in the next year or so. I didn't use the restaurant or bar, but they looked good. Our reunion was a great success and a big reason for that was the friendly and professional hotel staff One thing you might not get out of the hotel information is the fact that it sits very close to a fantastic hiking trail. It's wide with plenty of signage and I enjoyed my walks there immensely. I enjoyed my stay and would certainly return.

Not great This hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms weren’t clean. We even found dirty underwear under the edge of the bed! The sofa was stained so we just avoided sitting on it. Bed linens had stains, as did towels and wash cloths. We’ve stayed here in the past and it was much better. The breakfast omelets were great! They are by far the best thing about the hotel! The area seems shady now as well. Lots of homeless people hanging out behind the hotel asking for money and some of your food when parking. Pool seems old and unclean also. I couldn’t let my kids get in the pool. I will definitely choose another hotel next time.

Poor service at this Embassy Suites We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in Colorado Springs. The property is very nice but the front desk personnel were very rude and not helpful at all. We were on a tour and had to leave a day early. We had paid for help with our luggage but when we ask for help with our luggage the front desk lady was extremely rude. My husband has health issues and it’s hard for him to lift. She informed us that there was no one to help and if the maintenance man was free he might be able to help. We had to leave by a certain time. We were very disappointed with our service. A young couple sitting in lobby offered to help us. They too had encountered the lady’s rudeness. Their vehicle had been broken into and they were trying to get help with their situation. Everything was stolen from their truck. We expected a much better service from an embassy suites. This was very disappointing.

Dirty, Run down hotel Do not stay at this hotel. Aside from it being run down and dirty, there were many other issues. I booked a double queen and they gave me a single king. When I let them know what I had booked and offered to show my confirmation email, they refused to look at my email and said that is what they have and there is nothing they could do. They were unapologetic and rude about it. My room smelled bad and the pillows were stained (see pic). The room was very dirty.
