Amazing Customer Service Our stays here are ALWAYS wonderful. The staff are so friendly and ready to help you with anything you need. Although I would like to recognize Zoe B from the front desk. Her hospitality is like no other. We come and stay with our two service animals and she makes sure that even THEIR stay is a great one. She is one of the main reasons we come back time and time again. Thank you Zoe for your outstanding customer service!

DISGUSTING We had the WORST hotel experience ever. We booked two rooms for our party. As we walked down the hallway to our room, we knew we had made a mistake. The hallway was FILTHY, with bits of debris, garbage, and what appeared to be dried animal vomit or feces in the hallway. This was not one place - the whole hallway was like this. It did not appear to have been swept anytime recently. The first room we walked into had hair and crumbs on the counter. We immediately walked out and told the front desk attendant. After seeing the hall and the room, we hoped to be refunded so we could just leave. She told us she could change our rooms and that she would personally make sure our new rooms were clean. As we walked with her down the hallway, we pointed out our dirty it was. She shrugged it off, and bent down and picked up a couple of the countless pieces of trash/debris and put in her pocket. She took us to a room and left us outside the room for around 5 minutes while she was apparently cleaning what was supposed to be an already clean room. It was very weird. The new room was still dusty (tables and around floor boards) with hair in the bathtub and one room had a candy wrapper on the floor. The lobby was decent but the halls and rooms were run down and dated (wallpaper coming off, chunks of carpet missing) and very unclean. The hallway also smelled unpleasant. We would have just left, but our party had paid around $250 for two rooms (and we were not wild about losing that money + having to pay for two rooms at a different hotel). Check-in was also weird. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. We rang the bell twice and finally had to go find an employee at the bar. We were told the front desk attendant was delivering towels. The whole check-in process took at least 20 minutes and we were the only ones there (shortly after 8 pm).

Poor experience over the Christmas holiday We chose Stoney Creek for our recent stay in Columbia while visiting relatives during the Christmas holiday based on previous reviews and proximity to them. Neither at the time of booking or at the time of reconfirming our reservation were we told that the hotel would be hosting a convention over the Christmas holiday . If we had known this we would have stayed elsewhere and in retrospect wish that we had. Check in was delayed as the front desk personnel were engaged in talking to other guests about the noise in the halls. The room key cards frequently had to be renewed Our room was spacious and clean and at the end of the hall but even then at night there was running above us. The beds were comfortable but the bed frame was not properly installed and a 4 inch piece of the framing protruded but was covered by the bed skirt. It was painful when I walked into it unawares. The convention involved families with many children who circulated through the hotel without adult supervision. Walking down the halls during the day we saw rooms with open doors with sleeping bags on the floor . It seems like if there is a maximum room occupancy number it was ignored. When we returned to the hotel on the evening of Christmas there were two young ladies in PJ's on the floor of the elevator we took to our room, one was sitting in the corner talking to her friend who was lying against the back wall of the elevator. The food at breakfast was adequate but there were fewer choices than in a smaller hotel we stayed in elsewhere the following week. Dog owners whom we talked to mentioned that their dogs were disturbed by all the noise in the halls On a positive side the accommodations were not expensive. We won't be returning

Always love our stay at Stoney Creek. Here for a Mizzou football game. Stoney Creek has become our go-to hotel in Columbia. Always a clean, comfortable room here. Excellent, friendly service. Great breakfast. Nice little hotel bar. We've never swum in the pool, but it looks inviting. Such a convenient location near the stadium. And last but not least, ya gotta love the hunting lodge theme. Fun. We'll be back.

Horrible customer service We've stayed here about 25 times. It's very convenient and until this past weekend we've been pleased, even though they have a subpar breakfast and good luck finding a working ice machine. Today we discovered that our shower had no shampoo or body wash. When we complained we were told that we should have come to the front desk when we realized this. Seriously? Then we were told that since we booked it through a third party that they would not give us any refund. Beware of another business that offers crap customer service. Oh, and they can say bye bye to out thousands of dollars we spend there. Pathetic!
