Sad, itchy, state of affairs I don't like leaving negative reviews because I understand things happen. Especially when I must say Embassy Suites has been our go to hotel. Unfortunately, we are going to have to switch to a different brand. It is understandable that hotel cannot stay “brand new” however routine maintenance of the rooms should be a minimum. The past few times we have stay it has been the same thing, the rooms have been run down. If it is not a newer hotel, the Embassy brand does not seem to do just a basic job of maintenance. Our most recent stay, the room was subpar at best. The bathtub was peeling, the furniture had so may stains on them my wife pulled the sheet of the bed just to sit on it, the wall paper had ripples in it, not bubbles but ripples. To top it off, we got bit by only what we can say were beg bugs. If it was for the poor maintenance, I would chalk the beg bugs up to what happens in the hotel industry, they are bound to happen even at the most expensive of hotels however, this hotel was so poorly maintained, it is more likely they have take not measure to control this. We have noticed this trend with older Embassy Suites Hotels, usually located in predominately minority populated areas. Really sad. The staff was nice and friendly but they can’t make up for the poor room. If we would have checked in earlier, we would have demanded a refund and went somewhere else.

Not the best... It just needs a refresh and the convention food is horrible. The rooms are dated and a little grubby. Took a coffee cup at one of the dinners and it had leftover orange lipstick on it. The greenery in the atrium looks like it is molting because it is scraggly, dirty, and artificial. The breakfast is the only good meal there.

Great staff! The staff is what made our stay so great. I would personally like to thank Na’ Ryan for going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The first room we were put in hadn’t been used in a while and the AC wasn’t cooling down the room. I went upfront and Na’ Ryan took me around to see if any other rooms on our floor were cooler. She was willing to take me to multiple rooms if needed and was so kind and helpful. Then she gave us a complimentary bag of treats for the inconvenience (which really wasn’t an inconvenience since she was so quick to help us out!) We would definitely stay there again.

Horrible service Staying at this hotel for a conference 07/14-07/17. Check in was at 4:00pm but room was not ready and still isn’t ready. It is now 6:15pm and we have yet had an update on the room. We are currently still not in our room. First day of the conference and I am very unsatisfied with this service. They also ran out of plates when food was served and didn’t bring out anymore, me and my family had to put roast beef and rolls on napkins because they also did not make enough food so that is all that was left by the time we go to the serving tables. Very disappointing _

Bad start turned great due to a caring hotel team member My wife and I checked in on July 5,2024 around 6:20pm. This hotel was very busy. When we got to our room, the room was clean, but very stuffy and warm. I ran the thermostat down as low as it would go, and then we went to the complementary happy hour. When we returned to our room, the room hadn’t cooled off that much. I called the front desk to voice my complaint about the warm room. I also texted the manager on duty. They had an engineer come and check the room’s thermostat. The engineer stated the bedroom temperature was reading 75 degrees and the living room area was reading 74 degrees. He stated it’s due to the outside temperature and there’s nothing he could do to cool the room any faster. I contacted the front desk and Ms. Ryah moved me to another room. When I entered the new room, it was even warmer and had a bad odor about the entire room. I went back to the front desk and Ryah apologized and asked me to try one more room. When I went to the 2nd new room, I wasn’t expecting any better, but was pleasantly delighted. The room was very clean, and the air was comfortable. It’s easy to complain and write an awful review. The reason I gave this hotel 5 stars is due to how Ryah handled the situation. She was outstanding, and needs to either train new staff on to properly way to take care of the hotel’s guests, or be promoted to her own property. She is an ambassador and valuable team member of this hotel. I hope someone with Hilton personally recognizes Ryah for her commitment to put the guest first! I can’t wait for breakfast in the morning!
