The staff salvaged our stay Whoever is in charge of upkeep and maintenance of the building, is definitely being negligent. Rooms and hallways/building have areas that are rough looking. Found hairs on sheets so there were a few housekeeping concerns. Staff is nice. They were the only positive during our trip there.

Run down The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They were sweet and helpful. But the facilities is run down and disgusting. Stain in bathroom where someone had been dying their hair red. It looked like a murder scene hat had been half-way cleaned up! At least there were no beg bugs! Best I can say about it.

Horrible building. Outstanding employees Horrible rooms, some do not have hot water no matter how long one runs it, mold, rust, very old carpets .… It feels that the rooms were not remodeled since the building was built. As this building is close to Ft.Jackson the wealthy Extended Stay” corporation does not need to invest to have repeated customers. I find hotel conditions disrespectful to military families who fly from all over the country to see their future heroes graduate from boot camp and find themselves in these horrible rooms. Some of these moms and dads are veterans. The point is the corporation will invest in buildings in California ( I stayed in those ) but will allow building to deteriorate in Columbia. At the same time, employees are amazing- extremely hardworking, professional, friendly, positive and loyal to the company. They go far and beyond to make guests stay better. The hotel is lucky to have them. Many thanks to Pandora and David.

Drug House Full of RUDE employees! This hotel is very close to Fort Jackson. That was the only plus. I stayed for an extended period of time and was shocked at what goes on at this place. First off, the room I had was filthy and had to be cleaned by me before even breathing in it. Outside reeks like a pot factory. The girl at the front desk is rude as hell. Anytime I needed anything she was found going in and out of room 210 which was occupied by someone. Pretty sure she was in there getting high. Ashton or Ashley I think is her name. Not only is she hanging out in a guest's room, but she is also rude and has no business running this place. When asking her for help she would roll her eyes, raise her voice and just walk away from the desk. My suggestion to the owner is to fire her, burn this cesspool down and start again.
