Absolutley Horrible I have never in my life written a review, but I do not want to have any other people ever fell like I did for three days\nights. I booked three nights at this hotel for my daughter and myself. The place is filthy, rooms are damaged, toilet paper in our peep whole, no head board on bed, all the rooms and the halls stunk, people are living there as their residence. Unfortunately all hotels in area were booked, so I could not move. Asked the a refund from the company I booked through, but they contacted the hotel, and they would not even acknowledge a Contact back. Besides being disgusting, I actually feared staying there with my daughter and myself with the people whom were living their using it as their residents.

stay away worse place ever, roaches, dirty rooms, toilet leaks, and the kitchen is unusable would be afraid to use it if it did work because the place looks worse than a crack house. cops all over the place very unsafe

Told me and my family sleep in our car!! This hotel is not in a safe location and has jo regulars for anyones safety. I purchased a suite one week before arriving. When I read the notes it said they would be closed at 10pm so if you would be a late arrival to let them know ahead of time. I informed them in my notes and called twice the day of arrival- I explained my flights wouldn’t even arrive until 12midnight so I would. It arrive till around 1 maybe 2 because I had to get my luggage, land, find an Uber. The women I spoke to kept repeating everything I said and explained that it was all taken care of. There would be a security guard and a person that lived on the premises because they understand people come in late from flights all the time. When I arrived at 2am - No one was around and it was extremely overwhelming because it is not in a safe location. I called the on-site security an no answer. I saw this plain white car driving around the hotel- So I approached it (Scary) and it was the security officer, he knew nothing of what I was talking about. He tried calling his boss because no one could get ahold of the owners or help desk. No response- Now it’s closer to 3am and I finally get the security officers boss to call me and he said.. They waited till 12:30 and no body lives on the premises to help you. They told me at 3:23am to come back at 11am to talk to someone and 3pm to check in for the next day. I explained everywhere was booked up.. I had been calling this whole time around Columbia, Camden and Sumter and everything was booked. They said- You have a car and it’s not our problem. I have not heard from anyone to apologize or even make sure I get my money back. I’ve been hung up twice when calling the hotel. Please do not go here.. it’s unsafe and they have no reliable people that work there to actual help you.. Great Management This is our first time staying with hometown suites. There were some issues with our reservation due to going through a third party. The general manager Darryl Wiseman handled the issue and was generous kind and delivered terrific service as well as an awesome room. I hope that when anyone goes to a hotel to stay they encounter management and staff like this. We will always be appreciative of what Darryl and his staff has done for us.

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT..FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE Don't Even Think About it!!!..Don't Know Where to do Start..Place is Run down n Scary Looking People if you Know what I mean..Upon Arrival Pool was Pure Green Molt.Thought an Alligator would Jump out..No Towels, No Soap,No Cups, No Phone, Dirty n Worn out .Drapes Broken Had to Rig up, Furniture Was soo Dirty Scared to Sit Down..Torn Carpet looks like it has never been Clean in 20 Years..One Lightbulb In Room n Bathroom..Lucky I had My on Cleaning Supplies..Refrig had Rust on it n Had to wipe it down inside with Lysol. Just to put my soda in..No Desk Clerk to be found..Office Stays Closed..Saw some Flying Roaches Had to Sleep with Lights n Tv on all night to keep them at Bay..Only Reason I Tough it out was I couldn't get a Refund with HotRate price After Traveling 2 1/2 Hour Drive n Didn't want to pay Another $75.00 for another DUMP!!..Only good thing was the location Close to Mall n Restaurants.. Seriously..this place needs to be Bulldozer n Rebuilt ..Crack Heads Walking Around..Don't Do it!!!..People Actual Live n Rent There ...Damn Shame they trick you with Online Pictures..Not even Close..Had to Keep my Gun Close by side ...Wanted to ask for Refund But again Desk is a Ghost Town on purpose..No one to Talk too..Pay the Extra $$ to Be Safe .. n Star Rating of Minus 5
