Unpleasant stay. Maybe it will be better when work is finished? The hotel was under construction. The dust from the construction is still bothering my sinuses two days later. Then we go down for breakfast and there are dozens of teenage girls from softball teams. Crazy! There was nothing relaxing about this stay.

Find another hotel! First room had issues of being unsanitary and fixtures non functioning. The renovation contractor apparently hired 4 year old to paint the rooms along with cracked ceramic tiles. Second room had dirt on items and dead bugs on the window sills. The tv’s don’t work correctly and one of the cleaning staff was hacking up a lung. That makes you feel like your room will be clean, NOT! Only positive was the front desk tried to help.

Horrible Experience I reserved a room on fedrooms.com at the Holiday In Express in Columbus Ga for Saturday May 20-check inn and May 21, 2023. I used my mobile app to check into the hotel and called the hotel to add a second person to pick up key. Once the person arrived at the hotel., she was given a key to room a room. She opened the door, and the room was occupied. The hotel was full and had no other rooms available on that night. The hotel was not able to accommodate us at any other nearby affiliated location. After you check into a hotel that’s reserved, the room should remain available until I arrive even if its in the middle of the night. The room was already paid for during booking, I checked in on my mobile app, and then called the hotel to make sure we would have a room upon arrival. Instead we had to drive 2 1/2 hours home at midnight. Thank God no one was hurt by entering an occupied room.

Great Experience Staff was friendly and courteous . Room were clean and spacious, had microwave, refrigerator and small sink. The breakfast and very good with biscuits being the best I ever had. Stayed here for the PSU vs Auburn game very easy drive to the game and back. Nichole in group sales was great to work with. Will definitely consider staying at a Holiday Inn Express again.

repeat trip on the way to Flordia The hotel is average for an IHG place. My big gripe is the cinnamon rolls or rather the lack of. A quick history on this. The mainstay cinnamon rolls have been the most popular breakfast item for years. A couple of years ago Holiday Inn replaced them with a cheaper roll and they were not well received. Holiday Inn finally went back to the good rolls. Now for the problem. Most hotels are individually owned and can choose what they want on the breakfast menu. This hotel did NOT provide cinnamon rolls even though they are so popular. My cynical view is they did this to save money. The result for me is that I will not come back and will stay at only Holiday Inn Express's that serve the rolls
