They told us not to come and Never gave our money back!!! We were supposed to stay there Feb 22 for the weekend. One the drive there they called and said they are closing for renovations. This is something they failed to mention when I booked the room. The next day I heard that they really closed the whole place down due to bugs, bad food quality and crime. I live close so it was all over the news. I am glad we never went. Still haven't received my refund. I patiently waited the 5 business days it was going to take to get the money back. I called and they said that no one got refunded due to a fire. Sounds like they aren't going to refund. Going to the attorney general today!

My family's personal opinion :) I see fort rapids is being shut down. Bad food, bad air quality, bed bugs..pretty much says horrible everything. We went last summer in a group of 4 children and 3 adults. The food definitely was not family friendly,so we ordered out. Our room was pretty spotless. Awesome bed, pillows, actually worked great. 2 tvs, perfect for adult/kids. A pull out sofa. We definitely didn't get bit by a single bug. No roaches. A convenient microwave, fridge and coffee pot. I took the lotions, shampoo and conditioner home (they smelled awesome) yes,the water park water was a bit strong in some places. But tolerable. The workers were everywhere and vigilant. Did we get lucky? I dunno. If it weren't so over priced we would visit every year cause we all enjoyed our stay. There waiting for grandma in the picture :)

Very Trashy, son and group won a prize day trip there. Was not worth it Upon entering the place the carpet is ragged, and the entrance is dark. Got to the waterpark entrance and a RUDE little girl was giving us grief about meeting our group. The group was 20 feet away and i pointed they had our tickets. She blocked the entrance, so i marched right around her got my wrists bands and flashed them to her. The lockers had small bugs in them, did not use them, Life guard and brown stains on his shirt, the air was very hard to breath, strong smells. Rides looked refurbished or something. We are use to Kalahari, Castaway Bay, and Great Wolf-All EXCELLENT and fabulous service. This place was like VERY offensive looking in its lack of cleanliness. Will not be back free or not, isnt worth the antibiotic upper respiratory infections.

Worst ever!!!! Arriving there, it seemed ok, the staff were pleasant and I just thought "a bit run down, but the staff made up for the first impression". Got to our room. It was filthy! I immediately went to the local Walmart and purchased my own towels, and cleaning supplies. I should have checked out then. But my child wanted to go to the water park. We were here to see doctors at Nationwide Children's. By Friday after our visit to the doctors, it was too late to coordinate a different hotel. I was sicken by the room not being clean. I had stomach issues from that afternoon on, we stayed until Monday when our flight took off. My child got sick, and with a serious heart condition it made it worse. He too developed stomach issues and the cleaning staff "overlooked" our room, while they were on their cell phones!

HORRIBLE!! I brought my boys here on Valentine's weekend for their birthday and it was awful!!! We paid over $700 for a villa suite, the 2 bedrooms downstairs were ice cold we had the heat up to 80 and it felt like an air conditioner was ran all night, and all 3 bathrooms none of them had warm water. We tried to call the front desk from all 4 phones in our suite and none of them worked so had to use our cell phone. We ended up calling 3 times and no one ever came to check the heat or the water. Ridiculous!! The chlorine in the waterpark area was so over whelming that my children were having trouble breathing and chest discomfort. A friend who stayed in another suite had similar problems and as we went to the bar that night, we sat there for almost an hour waiting to be waited on!! The bartender gave us the wrong drink and when we told him he grabbed them and rolled his eyes and shook his head. Don't waste your time or money here!!!
