Terrible !!! The absolute worst experience in a long time. We drove 3 1/2 hours to go to the nastiest most outdated and antiquated place that I’ve been in a long time. We paid almost $450 for one night in a room it was supposed to be a deluxe. When we stepped in the room, it was like I had stepped back in 1972. Everything is outdated and completely old. There’s no microwaves in the rooms. Everything and I mean everything is extremely expensive. One beer is $10. You can’t afford to feed a family and have to leave the park to go elsewhere. Their prices are higher than Disneyland for food. Do yourself a favor and don’t make the mistake that we did and find somewhere else to go. I don’t know how this place is still in business, but I’m sure it’s because of people like me who don’t do the research before they go.

Average at best. One of the smallest water parks we have been to. If this is your first time, you won’t be disappointed since you don’t have a comparison; however if you have been to a larger park; you will wonder where all the slides are or the lazy river or some of the other main features in the newer or modernized water parks these days. Everyone was friendly and we went on a Wednesday overnight. - when the outdoor was not open. Ideally this is for the 8 and under crowd-Since there really is only one ‘big’ slide. They really push the laser tag and golf, build a bear etc. The rooms are old; but fine. It’s fine, just don’t expect a lot of water slides.

Great wolf Lodge review Trip Advisor. Just returned from one night at the Great Wolf Ldge in Concord, NC. I was skeptical that it may be too lame for the grand kids. They are 14 and 9 and we buy season passes to Wet & Wild water park in Greensboro NC every year, but the kids had a blast. There are 4 great rides for teens and preteens. The water park has enough diversity from Wet & Wild that it was a lot of fun. They especially loved the Howlin Tornado and I loved the River Canyon Run. We could all ride these together. I opted NOT to get the Paw passes or meal plans and I was happy with this decision. We did laser tag, bowling and mini golf once each and that was really enough. For older kids, I don’t think $100 per person is worth it. So, we spent $75 versus $400. We had lunch off site and arrived at the lodge before noon on a Friday as I had done the pre check in on my phone earlier, check in at the Kiosk was super easy and fast. Wristbands were printed, parking paid for we were ready to go. They have changing facilities, but we all came with bathing suits under our street clothes, and we left the suitcases and other things in the car until our room was ready. Our room was ready at 3:30PM and by that time, we were ready to give the water a rest. We went to our room and just relaxed until dinner. Tip: come early on a weekday. We had the majestic bear suite. It was a beautiful room, but the bathroom is off of the living room where the 2 queen beds were, so kind of inconvenient from the king bedroom. Pros: 3 beds, so room slept 6. This suite has a large table which was super nice. Good size mini fridge Microwave, very small, but good enough for popcorn and heating water for tea. Cons: The pillows were awful. Big & hard and lumpy. We forgot to bring our own pillows The sheets were scratchy. The fan in the bathroom was attached to the light, so there was no light without the very very loud fan. We had dinner at Sonnys BBQ. If you love BBQ, Sonnys is the place to go. YUM. After dinner, we played in the arcade and then Laser tag. Laser tag is only a 5-minute game for $8 per person or $25 for a family of 4. Kinda high for a small area and short time, but we had fun. In the morning, we had cereal in the room that we brought from home. We arrived at the water park at 9AM sharp when they opened, there was a long line, but it moved very quickly and the lines for the big rides were short. The wolf is very efficient at moving the rides along. Lifeguards are fun. We stayed at the water until 10:30 when we went back to our room to shower quickly, change and grab a last minute snack. We had already packed so we were ready to go. Check out is at 11AM and all you have to do is type OUT in a text. After check out you can stay in the park all day, but we choose to play mini golf and bowl and then head home. My grandson’s birthday is in February, and he wants to return next year.

Disappointed rip off Im very disappointed. The rooms are great and room price was great but I made the mistake of buying the 350 fun and food pass..I totally regret that. Only things included are the things no one wants to do. The good rides arent included. You get 100 in food which you pay for in the 350. Then you are forced to pay their high food prices because you got to use your 100 up..The other 250 is a total waste. You get unlimited bowling which is 7.00 a person. Unlimited laser tag which is 7.99 a player. Kids playes once and were bored. And Magiquest and a free 14.95 wand..which is basicly goung floor to floor finding your quest. They got bored with. that after 5 minutes. Total value of 350 package should be 150. Ended up spending 60 in arcade and couole hundred on the things they actually wanted to do. I recommend not buying the package. Save yourself 350 bucks. So disappointed and I wish someone warned me.
