Good choice for business stay Glad I didn't read the negative reviews -- this was an excellent choice for staying in Concord twice on business. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was safe and convenient. A Thursday night brought a large wedding party which was noisy and rather annoying, so I would recommend requesting a room away from large groups if possible. Enjoyed being able to walk out the front door and stroll to a coffee shop in the morning and a nice variety of restaurants for dinner.

Disappointed This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Concord NH Holiday Inn. The 1st 2 times was a great experience which is why I came back again. This last stay, I booked 2 adjoining rooms 435&437. The rooms were nice but there were stains on the carpet and the bathroom door in 437 would not close. One of my nephews wanted to sleep on the pull out couch/bed in 435 but when we opened it, there were crumbs from food and a sock that was not ours. There were also crumbs on the furniture piece near the microwave in 435. The hand soap dispenser at the bathroom sink in 435 was completely empty. I did not make a big deal at the time I discovered this, but I did mention it to the morning employee working the desk. He said we should have called and they would have taken care of it. I do not feel I need to call after the fact, it just should not have happened if they cleaned the rooms correctly. I hope they will read this and from this point forward, have the cleaning staff open the pull out couch/beds every time and clean them. You never know when guests are actually going to use it. I hope the next time we stay it will be a better experience as far as room cleanliness. Also not working were the jets in the hot tub near the pool. There was a male just inside the rear door that goes to the LL that was smoking marijuana and when he saw us he went outside the door. Not sure if he was a guest or not, but he did not look like it. We decided to eat at the restaurant on site but were told only thing available was pizza. The pizza was good, but not sure why they did not have other food available from their decent size menu. A positive note, they did paint the ceiling in the pool area which was peeling bad the last stay. Overall, I do enjoy staying here.

Not a good place. Extremelly outdated, wear and tear in furniture and other points are noticeable. The accustic insulation of the walls are mediocre, can you listen all conversation of your neighbor room. Breakfast buffet extremelly poor, believe or not, bread isn’t offered. Need to go a full remodelation, phisical and performance.

Hostile and Unsafe Conditions Plague the Swimming Pool The pool condition at the hotel is in sad shape because of the way some guests disrespects the property. The hotel staff, notably Kira, takes a complacent view over safety at the pool. When I complained that some guests allow their kids to dive over other swimmers and that some parents are hurling balls over them, Kira thought it was funny and said that there was nothing more she could do. There's always a mess in the mens' locker room area, and one time I saw human waste. My complaints fell on deaf ears. It is an open secret that this hotel doubles as a homeless shelter where the city suffers from an acute meth problem. I'm unsure why safety is a low priority at this facility and why the pool has become a hostile environment.

This is a terrible hotel. This is a terrible hotel. The rooms were dirty and unclean - and totally outdated. I was skeeved out by laying my head on the pillows which are who knows HOW old. The staff was unfriendly, did not care about their customers and barely available - coffee was empty in the morning - the breakfast (if you can call a couple of wrapped muffins breakfast on a tiny desk breakfast) was terrible. I stay in Concord quite a bit for work and I will NEVER again stay here, It's really bad.
