A home from home in Copenhagen Really loved the ambience at this hotel. The staff were relaxed, friendly and very helpful. It is actually quite a big hotel but gave the impression of being cosy and small. Lots of courtyards and lounge areas to sit and read or just relax. Room was small but more than adequate for one person, clean and well equipped with tea/coffee/kettle/fridge/ironing facilities/safe. I particularly liked that the environment was important to the hotel - both from the point of view of recycling (although I couldn't quite work out which part of the wastepaper bin to put things in - perhaps a decode of symbols used, for people who are not used to such efficiency, would be helpful), and from the point of view of the breakfast offerings. Wish I could have brought some of the homemade cereal mix home with me! The free happy hour in the evening was great and allowed you to connect with other guests and the staff. There was also free yoga in the morning if you wanted it and of course bicycle rental too, plus a spa attached to the hotel and a well-equipped little gym. The position of the hotel was ideal for walking to the centre of the city or the Botanical Gardens and Rosenborg Palace and the nearby market was a bonus. The Norreport Station was a short walk away and connected straight to the airport (DKK30 - single adult ticket) or to the Nyhavn and Radhuspladsen (for Tivoli Gardens) areas. There is no restaurant in the hotel but plenty of options nearby. Altogether a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel with great location The hotel is great but the staff is excellent . Very very helpful and polite . Was just charmed by them . We got a good sized room , the only downside was that it was overlooking the courtyard and sound from diners did carry up a bit . Would highly recommend this hotel for its location , staff and facilities . It’s 5 min walk from metro station and the famous food market , which is a must try . Tea coffee making facilities in the room .

Very friendly and smiling staff A very warm welcome, friendly & smiling staff, good location, pleasant & shady places to eat and drink, restaurants serving Italian, Spanish and Japanese cuisine, among other things, make Kong Arthur a safe address to recommend if you're visiting Coppenhagen.

Great place and great people The room was nice, but the people were great! Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. It was a comfortable place with nice rooms.

Great hotel and location Great location - half block from the river; can walk around to main streets for shopping and restaurants. Can walk to the market Israel Plads, with lots of shops and food vendors. Ate lunch several times and got two fabulous birthday cakes at Sweet Valentine bakery. Hotel has steps to get up out front but elevator inside. Great Spanish restaurant out back of the hotel. Staff very nice and helpful. Wonderful breakfast buffet (but they need more waffle irons).
