DISAPPOINTING! Very disappointing stay. Room was rough with furniture Grandma would have thrown out, peeling paint and rust in the bathroom, and marginal customer service. The barking dogs and slamming doors were just added benefits. Eat before you come here as the dining room is fly heaven and food is overpriced. Customer service is a foreign term at the front desk, and don't dare try to check in before 4 PM. Once and done is right.

One and done for me Was really looking forward to staying here, but I won’t be staying again. The room was clean, although we were very disappointed that it didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. It says they have a shared microwave, which means taking your food to the front desk and asking them to heat it for you. We could also hear everything going on and being said around us, the walls are VERY thin. Don’t bother calling the front desk because nobody will answer, no matter how many times you call. I ended up walking down there only to find the person behind the desk playing on her phone. On the plus side, the views were good, the location ideal, and the complimentary breakfast was very good.

Cozy stay with amazing views Wonderful stay. The staff is sweet and the room was clean and comfortable. Our view was incredible. The restaurant was perfect. If you want fancy, this isn’t for you. Basic food on the buffet or the menu, everyone should be able to find something (if you are reasonable). I could not find one thing to complain about

Great lodge. Even better setting We visited DuPont Lodge 50 years ago and loved it. The lodge is as stately as ever and so well maintained. Cumberland Falls and the surrounding Daniel Boone National Forest offer great hiking, rafting, horse riding etc. A great experience just to stay at the lodge. A must for outdoor lovers.

Not the ideal place Well I always wanted to stay at a state park resort so we decided to stay here on our way to Gatlinburg! It’s not your ordinary place to stay because it’s way off the beaten path and it’s not close to the falls! Our room faced a large tree! We thought we would have a refrigerator and microwave for the price we paid but we didn’t! Our handicap parking was a long ways from the room! Breakfast was a joke, cold biscuits and gravy, if we had a microwave we could of heated it up! Not that happy with the stay and will not be back!
