I highly recommend this hotel I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting San Diego there is a wide range of things to do like playing tennis, swimming in the pool, ping pong, cornhole, and a bunch of other things to do. The room was very clean, shower relaxing, however not a very wide selection of food at the silver strand exchange.

Awful hotel, lousy service…DISASTER My wife and I stayed at this hotel 20 years ago and the only thing that changed since then is the nightly rate. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights the 1st week of July 2024 and our experience was VERY BAD. The hotel’s internet is very weak and when I complained they connected me an offshore support company. I was up until 1:30AM and after a lot of calls and support tickets I got it to work (1-2 bars). The service in restaurants was extremely slow and the food was awful. Out of 6 meals they never got even one order right. Regardless of what we asked for they did whatever they wanted and always forgot stuff. We had fish for dinner twice and both times we got sick. Just like many people at the pool we did DoorDash thereafter. Neither the pool nor lobby bar had a blender to make a frozen drinks. The room was superficiality clean, lots of cob webs. The same size Cesar salad coming out from the same kitchen at one restaurants in the lobby was in $13 and the other restaurant was $22. It took forever for the hot water to come in the shower. And I can keep going…just stay away from this hotel

Low value We were so disappointed with our stay. We reserved the two-bedroom "suite" because we had six people, and the suite gave us two bedrooms and a living room with a sofa bed and murphy bed. It's not a suite - it's three connecting rooms jerry-rigged together (with the double doors that only unlock on one side) between each room. There were no suite amenities that you would expect for almost $2000/night. The murphy bed was broken. The sofa bed was a love seat that was impossible to sit on, let alone sleep. The sofa was very old with holes all over it, the rug was coming apart, the furniture was old and scratched. Even the lamp was cheap and could hardly stand up. There was a dorm sized fridge ON the counter so that when you looked towards what they called their kitchen area, you looked at the back of the little fridge. There was nothing else that made it a kitchen other than a small coffee maker. No microwave, no towels, no drawers or cabinets. The TV worked some of the time. The beds were extremely soft (some liked it and some complained of back pain). All of the bathrooms were single vanity, and the showers were very small. Housekeeping was marginal and it depended on the day. Some days it was done nicely, other days I think they just made the bed and left. Towels weren't always replaced. We had room service one night. It took almost 90 minutes to get (25 minutes after it was promised). The food was cold and two of the orders were wrong. Service at the outside restaurant by the bar was friendly, but we had to go inside to get service every time and then again to get our check. In Crown Landing, the dinner was wonderful. Breakfast was an adventure of who was in the kitchen that day. Sometimes it was good and other times it was almost inedible - eggs so overcooked and cold sides. I ordered avocado toast one morning and it came with almost no avocado (just a thin spread as if it was buttered with the avocado instead of butter). When I said something to the server, she said it depended on who was cooking but no offer to fix it or take it off the check. They charge a $49/day resort fee for things we never used and they charge $50/day for valet (47 for self-park). The valet attendants were great. Service at the front desk was also friendly and courteous. We won't be back.

Perfect hotel, perfect pool , but be careful about your items getting disappearing in your hotel room I love staying in this hotel. A few things when you booking you need to know. First parking your car 47 dollars . Second it is little far from Coronado island so you need Uber or Lyft . They have shuttle between 8-9 . Menu is pricy and cocktails too. Room cleaning every day The only issue look small but most of you like me ;can take as big: my hat was disappeared in my room. And hotel didn’t care much . It is one small thing but someone stole from my room and till I go back my home will not know what else is gone. I talked to front desk lady ,she said she will ask security and will turn me back. But two days later I ask other person he told me he is just putting in system . It is like normal thing that your items getting stolen from your room. So other than myself , my wife and cleaning lady in this room . So be careful for your valuable items keeping in room , even clothes too

Resorts location is perfect for visiting Coronado This place is located in the perfect spot to me. It’s surrounded by water with the Bay on one side and the Ocean on the other. There lots of things to do from pickel ball to bike riding to walking the trails. You can also drive 4 miles and you’re in the thick of downtown Coronado with tons of food options. The hotel room was spacious. I will say the shower is super small and I can’t believe the rooms have carpet in 2024. Essentially I think a room refresh on some small things is needed. The bed was comfy and the views you can’t beat. The tub is huge if you decide to take a bath.
