Don't be fooled- it's an old, tired property The web site leads you to believe the site was renovated. It's actually a tired old hotel that's had many bad cosmetic repairs. They can't hide the stained furniture and carpet. The deficiencies include: - cold shower - television signal not working - no plug for the coffee machine - freezer needs defrosting - LOUD LOUD LOUD air conditioner The only redeeming features is a comfortable bed and staff who try making your stay bearable.

Look elsewhere for accommodation Bed was good. This is where it ends. Remodeling currently. They put me in a room with hvy construction going on in next room. Elevator was extremely slow. One was out. Both were out next morning had to carry bags down 3 flights of stairs. Look elsewhere for your stay.

Will rise from the ashes The reviews of this place are very grim. I stayed here years ago, and the building and facilities were in much better shape. I will say I was shocked by its current degradation BUT it needs to be known that this hotel is undergoing an incredible renovation. The hotel is very conveniently located near the Corpus Christi airport. The structure is sound and worthy of renovation. I understand a new owner who owns many properties is now very involved with bringing it back to what it was and even improving on that. I would say if you stay here now, get the best deal you can and accept its current flaws. The staff are all very nice and are excited about the future.

Stay elsewhere Unfortunately, I did not read these reviews before booking the room. Instead, I looked in the lobby to see if i needed to cancel. Lobby was nice so I didn't cancel. Nice ended there. What a dump. Carpets filthy and stained. Elevators slow and choppy. Lamp was rusty and made me wonder what was on it. Bathroom fixtures all dirty looking as chrome is discolored. All vents are filled with a fuzzy and filthy growth. Employees are pleasant enough, but the only thing that can save this place is a total remodel, period. I replied to a survey request and received a form letter. Stay away.
