Amazing boutique hotel What an amazing gem. We just went and stayed 2 evenings in the King cottage. We celebrated our birthdays. From the friendliest staff to the cozy bed. We have now found our go-to hotel for our birthday celebration. Loved that it's right across the street from merkin vineyards our absolute favorite wines!!!! My husband and I will be back very soon to explore more of cottonwood.

Leave The Dogs at Home We have stayed at the Tavern Hotel several times and have enjoyed it. We decided to take our pups this go and felt "lucky" to book the one and only room you can bring your dogs, The Dog Cottage. After the experience, I would say leave the dogs at home or book yourself a dog friendly AIRBNB/VRBO. The Tavern's "brand" doesn't apply to The Dog Cottage at all. Sure, it is cutely decorated with dog themed pictures and cute furniture, but that is about the only positive. The bed is HORRIBLE. Not only is it tiny little thing, but the mattress is also slanted, almost like an elephant slept on one side of it for 20 years. The bed sheets, toilet paper and even Kleenex are like cardboard. The TV didn't work when we got there and after calling the front desk, the employee tells me, "Yeah it's a known issue with the cords." I'm like okay, at $300ish a night, why is that now my problem and why would you not fix it before the next guest if it is a known issue?" They sent someone out, nice guy, he fixed it the TV but still, again, brand consistency. It is almost like because you want to bring your dogs, your experience there will be less than the other "Tavern" rooms. Bottom line, leave your pups with a trusted pup sitter and get a regular room.

Perfect! We had our Family Reunion in Cottonwood, and the Tavern Hotel was just perfect. The King Cottage was the perfect gathering spot for all of us—near the pool, too! The staff was lovely and helpful and fun and made it all just perfect! The Tavern Grill, Crema, and Strada restaurants were close, with excellent food and service at each of them. It could not have been more perfect! I have used the word perfect a lot, but it all was. Thank you to Nicki and all the staff!

Excellent Anniversary! The Manager Gregory Dillon was top notch, he knew our and names and the reason we were there. Room was excellent, Keurig coffee maker with pods and cream, bathroom fabulous, towels nice a fluffy, bedding excellent, lobby clean & elegant. Walking distance to shops, wineries and restaurants. We recommend to get the wine package. A must stay you won't regret it!
