Gross... don't! The place looks great in the lobby.. then when I got to the room the sheets were stained - so I changed rooms. Next room had pubes and soap stuck to the wall and it stunk of cigarettes.. rooms are so basic and things are so old and broken.. NOT CLEAN AT ALL - People are living there by the looks. My work colleagues room was also awful and his AC only blew hot air. I wouldn't stay here unless you paid no more than $20 for the room. Gross... don't!

Vanllee Special mention to Davis, George, and Daniel, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Davis's warm welcome and helpfulness, George's attention to detail and friendly demeanor, and Daniel's expertise and guidance made me feel like royalty! The staff's dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for guests is evident in every aspect of the hotel. From the moment I arrived to the moment I departed, I felt valued, respected, and cared for. Vanlee Hotel, you have a winning team! Keep up the fantastic work, and I look forward to my next stay!"

ROACHES...!!! My husband and I got the room with the intent on staying one night after a wedding we attended close by. It didn't bother me that the hotel was old. I could see that it was cute back in it's day. It didn't bother me that the elevator was noisy and seemed unstable. It didn't bother me that the door to our room was warped and not flush with the door frame so there were gaps and you could see outside. It bothered me a little that there was trash on the floor, that told me they didn't clean the room that well. It was a Saturday night so the club downstairs was very loud with drunk patrons screaming and yelling right downstairs from our room. The thing that got me was seeing a roach crawling on the other bed at 4am. I woke my husband up and we packed up to leave right then. The hotel refused to refund our money and only offered half off of another stay for a larger room that would cost more. Where's the deal in that? At any rate, this place needs to close down and upgrade the entire place. I would not recommend staying here.

Terrible experience; read ALL reviews for why All I can say is read the 1-star reviews and stay away. My experience at this hotel, which was booked for me by the organization I was visiting, was terrible. I was supposed to stay 2 nights but checked out after the first night and found a safer hotel. I would have left the first night but once I was in my room I didn’t feel safe leaving until morning. The locks on the door and the balcony slider were broken. No security bolt. There was a hole in the wall where the door handle is that must have been from the door being thrown open violently. I put a chair in front of the room door for a little more security. No wifi. Furniture in my room matched the pictures on the website - clean and modern, but the bathroom was outdated and worn. When I left in the morning I took a closer look at the place. There was garbage everywhere. The gate to the back parking lot was ajar and would not close all the way. Belongings and trash on the balconies suggest that people are living there. All the positive reviews glow on and on about the service and staff, making me think they are not real reviews. Notice that the distribution of reviews is double-peaked on 1-star and 5-Star reviews, conveniently averaging to a 3/5 rating. I thought maybe things were better before 2020 but the bad reviews go back further than that. As I said at the beginning, read ALL the reviews and do not stay here.

Good value for $71. My room was updated. Yes, you can tell the hotel “was” very pretty in the old days. I booked from the hotel tonight App for $71. My room was updated, and a new wet bar with microwave oven a good-sized fridge (bigger than motels’), and a new bathroom counter. A living room and a bedroom. The carpet was not clean. Two tvs. I used to live in that area for 25+ years since 1996 but I never knew it existed. Yes, it looks old but I can tell it was a very beautiful hotel in the old days. Wish the company could invest enormous money to give it a facelift.
