Zero stars be aware. Hotel was old very dingy looking had to move my room because the air conditioner did not work and the room They put us in had an indoor AC that barely worked. then when you get there they tell you they’re charging you $144.50 they do not tell you That that money would be coming out after you left and they charge you for parking the only good thing I can say about this hotel is at the tiki bar. There is a bartender don’t remember his name he’s an army veteran and that was the only good part of our stay here I will never go here again. Be aware.

Terrible! Run to the closest hotel 6 for a better experience! Do not stay! Run away! This hotel is disgusting and should just close. First day at check in there was a straw in the floor, food from prior guest in the fridge, dirt on floor and no hand soap in the bathroom! The next day after house keeping came in, they never swept and no soap still! The prior guests food still remained in the room! Run away! A motel 6 is better! It’s filthy and smells! I had to find a house keeping closet to sweep my own floor!

Weekend get away for wife’s birthday Venue is nice, staff is courteous and attentive, amenities were nice and reasonably priced, food and drink was excellent- has the old Florida charm to this place!

Terrible! Do not stay at this hotel. Driving up to the hotel you feel that in it's day it could have been very nice. Upon entering the lobby you realize it's now been let go and needs to be torn down. Smells of mold and mildew. Our room was disgusting and filthy. The tub looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in who know's how long. Toilet wouldn't properly flush so maintenance brings us a plunger to keep in the room. Bed was so old and rickety it sounded and felt like it would fall to the ground. Each night stand had a lamp but the room only had one plug in and so only one lamp worked. We could hear the guest in the room next door clear his throught and both sides of his phone calls the walls were so thin. Ate dinner one night in the restaurant and it was terrible. Ordered clams and mussels and we were presented 5. Ridiculous! Would recommend to everyone to NOT stay at this hotel.

Plantation Chilling As always, when in Crystal River we use the Plantation for our base camp due to its central location to all we enjoying doing in Citrus County
